a campsite with a perfect view of Etna and the beach across the road! - hot water for tokens - older but always clean toilets and showers - excellent restaurant right in the camp - digestive tract, palm trees

Beautiful view of Etna, plenty of shade, friendly staff. We were with children and a dog. Unfortunately, there are no basic things like toilet seats and toilet paper in the camp. And the ants bothered us a lot.

Nice place with a view of Etna, very friendly welcome. Restaurant delicious. Beach (pebbles) very clean - only separated by a road. Departure was at 1:30 p.m. without any extra charge as we had booked an Etna tour. The shower and toilets are no longer up to date (you could do something about that...) but they are very clean and are cleaned several times a day. Great beach bar (left on the beach)

Stay for 4 days at the turn of June and July. We were in a car with a tent. The campsite itself is clean and tidy. Places under the trees provide shade all day long, which is a big plus. Bathrooms quite old but always clean. A warm shower for 4 minutes costs €0.7. From the campsite there is a wonderful view of Mount Etna. A good starting point for visiting nearby towns such as Catania, Taormina, Messina. The restaurant on site serves good food - pizza and pasta. Beach - just cross the street. Stone but clean.

Good location, you just need to walk across the street to get to the pebble beach. The facility is somehow getting a bit old, the sanitary facilities in particular could do with a renovation, but everything was clean. If you choose a parking space under the palm trees you have to be careful, during our stay it was very windy at times and 2 heavy palm branches crashed down right next to us. Luckily not on us or our car. Actually I would only give it 3 stars, but the 4th star is for the restaurant on site, which offers delicious dishes and pizzas and has extremely friendly owners.

Campsite used for one night during our tour of Sicily in a van, convenient for visiting Etna, old but clean bathrooms, good internal restaurant, nice clean sea in front with pebbles.

We stayed two nights with a motorhome in June. Place with good views of the volcano and next to the sea. Restaurant with super delicious pizzas and very friendly staff. The only thing I point out are the toilets, there are very few of them for the number of people at the campsite and they are quite old (although they are always clean). One thing that I point out as VERY NEGATIVE is the fact that in the toilets there is no soap to wash your hands, nor toilet paper. You have to use your own, and if you want a hot shower you pay extra.

Tent experience: Decent camping for the passage. It is shaded, it is possible to bring the car quite close to the tent (in low season) even if there are few tents now and there are many vans or campers. We were there in the low season and found the bathrooms always clean and free, it must be said that there are few bathrooms (3 women's toilets and 5 men's), there are about 4/5 showers (hot costs 70 cents) and several sinks, I wonder if this quantity meets the needs in case of large influx, but as I experienced it it was more than enough. There are two grills for cooking but there are no spatulas to clean them etc. There is a restaurant that we did not try, we only had a cappuccino and a bottle of water worth €4. The beach in front is stony and served by several beaches, a little too noisy for our tastes. It is located 40 minutes from Catania and 30 from Taormina, the road is very busy. I would go back for a stopover, but not for an entire holiday.

We had a great time camping for a long weekend. We had a bungalow and were super happy. There is enough space at the campsite and the many trees also keep you cool. Directly on the other side of the entrance is the beach with loungers and a bar, which you can use free of charge as a camping customer. What should be highlighted are the super friendly operators and employees, who were always very helpful in helping us with everything!! We will be back

The campsite is in a great location - across the street and you're on the beach, but it's still quiet in the evenings and there are lots of places under trees that provide shade. The sanitary facilities were few and old - but always clean and maintained as well as possible. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We would come back. The small restaurant is highly recommended and also inexpensive. Freshly baked goods are served every morning from 8 a.m. The croissants are awesome!
