Great camping with easy access to the beach.

Nice, pleasant and flexible owners, you can choose your place and later sort out documents. There are various places and choose what you want and there is electricity. The problem is if you need to use showers. There is only 3 of them and they are tiny and you need a token for 3 munutes. If you put your towel or clothes by the door on the hook you can't open the shower door or your chlothes can get wet. Generally camp need some cleaning and investment but the showers are the biggest problem if you need to use them. Some people use facilities in campers but it would take much to fix and make better showers. I paid 25€ with Acsi which is OK if you arrive from Messina side and you want to see Etna as there is not much choice. Later I found better and cheaper camps. Not that I don't like this camp but honestly I prefer others more for facilities and accordingly the price.

I'm simply surprised by some of the negative reviews. We've been coming to this campsite for several weeks each year for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. Yes, the sanitary facilities are in need of renovation and outdated, but they are cleaned several times a day. We've been there in the spring (April, May) and even though the campsite was full at that time, there was no queue for the showers, even though there are only two and they aren't separated for men and women. The staff at reception and the owner are always friendly and helpful. Perhaps it's sometimes the tone that matters? The restaurant on the campsite is perfectly fine for us, and the food is delicious. We did have ants, but it was far from an "invasion." You have to remember that you're camping on a meadow with date palms. Where there's fruit and food, there are also insects and various other creatures. That's called nature, and camping isn't like staying in a five-star hotel. The view of Mount Etna is always sensational, and the sea is easily accessible from the campsite. ... We are looking forward to returning in February and feel very comfortable here. Many thanks to the team at the campsite and the restaurant.

Great spot, you have the choice between sun and shade. Easily accessible for motorhomes 9m and longer. One star less because there are only two hot showers and one cold shower, which could be a problem when the campsite is busy. The beach is a 5-minute walk across from the campsite. The on-site restaurant is very good, family-run, and reasonably priced. Bread, rolls, and croissants are always plentiful in the restaurant from 9 am onwards. We didn't experience the ant problem described elsewhere.

A very good and nice campsite. Very well cleaned. Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful to see Etna. Book a trip to Etna at the campsite, a very good trip. Visit the restaurant because the food is delicious there. Remember to shop before you camp here because it is at least 2.5 km to the shop.

We were traveling with a motorcycle and tent and spent several nights at this campsite – we originally planned to stay just one night, but we extended our stay twice because we loved the location so much. The site is quite basic, but offers plenty of space and electricity for charging your phone or power bank. The restrooms are nothing special, but clean and functional – just what you need. Hot water in the showers is available via a stop-and-go switch, which can be activated with small coins (available at reception for less than 1 euro for 3 minutes). We were particularly impressed by the surroundings: The view of Mount Etna is impressive, and in less than five minutes, you can walk to a small pebble beach, which was pleasantly quiet and perfect for relaxing. Small supermarkets are nearby, and restaurants are also within easy walking distance (all under 20 minutes). Catania is also a quick stop. Overall, a simple but very well-located campsite, perfect for anyone who wants to combine nature, the sea, and proximity to the city. 😊

A must if you want to see Etna, especially in the morning...without clouds, only your own...and opposite is the sea...with fine pebble sand...

A nice campsite for one night. We used it as a stopover while touring Mount Etna. The service was very friendly. I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. Nice view of the palm trees, but not particularly comfortable.

We spent three nights here in mid-September 2025 with our tent, as we were making two excursions/hikes on Mount Etna from here. In the morning, on a clear day, you have a fantastic view of Mount Etna. The complex is very basic, and the bathrooms are old. But for €24 per night, it's fine. The restaurant, offering excellent value for money, compensated for the omnipresent ants every evening.
