Quiet place from which to go for walks, friendly and welcoming staff. Value for money is normal, excellent typical and well-prepared dishes.

Five stars for service and location Four stars honest price apart from the chopping board for €14 small quantity - Three stars quality products polenta not traditional mountain but Valsugana type 10 min cooking frozen mushrooms quite tasteless good with meat all in all good value for money we can return

We've been stopping here for a snack for years. Excellent sandwiches, and the prices compared to other places in Mottarone are really low. The only flaw with the aperitif is that they only bring two chips and the service is a bit slow because there is only one waitress to serve all the tables (among other things on Sunday).

We had lunch here on a Sunday, super place!!! Had a great meal, very high quality food with very honest prices!! There wasn't even a need to book. The very kind staff allowed us to use the bathroom even in the afternoon... super recommended! We will DEFINITELY be back! Tagliatelle with venison ragù, too, too, too good!!!! Compliments!!!

Delicious simple Italian food and beautiful views from the terrace. But be careful: you get a basket of bread placed on the table right at the start. Even if you don't eat any of it, you will be charged EUR 1.60 per person for the bread. There were four of us there and nobody ate any of it and the bread basket was completely cleared away at the end. This means it can be put back straight away for the next guests. We were not told beforehand that something would be charged for this. Protesting when paying is pointless. And noticed that this trick with the bread basket is apparently only done by tourists. The Italian guests at the neighboring tables did not have a bread basket on the table. They probably already know this trick or it is only done with tourists. It's a shame, because otherwise everything was fine.

04/09/2024: Io e mio marito, ci siamo stati ieri a pranzo, di passaggio a Gignese. Locale semplice, personale molto grntile e accogliente. Prezzi nella media e Pizza molto buona. Se ritornassi da quelle parti ci tornerei.

13/08/2024: The restaurant offers good cuisine, with tasty dishes and average prices for a place of this type. I particularly appreciated the possibility of bringing your dog with you, an aspect that makes the experience even more pleasant for those traveling with animals. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. I understand that the place was very crowded, but I had the impression that the slowness was due more to less than optimal organisation. For example, a simple request for a bottle of water was never fulfilled, and the drinks arrived too late, compared to the first course. Coffee and bitters were also slow in arriving. Despite these inconveniences, I must say that the staff were always friendly and smiling, doing their best to make us feel comfortable. I would happily return, hoping for more efficient service next time.
