I tried the restaurant. The menu is simple, with typical dishes and well-prepared. Consider the off-menu options, as they can offer pleasant surprises. I enjoyed the homemade desserts. The prices are fair.

Fast service, very kind waiters and a wonderful visa

A wonderful restaurant. I had some delicious cured meats and unique cheeses. Not to mention the polenta with sausage and porcini mushrooms, truly, truly excellent. Then there was dessert... the best tart I've ever had, with homemade cream and cooked blueberries.

We went here for lunch today. It's a lovely location with a stunning view. The staff were very welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

There are two restaurants up here on the Matrone. We tried both, and this one is highly recommended. Great food. It feels like it's freshly cooked from scratch, with very attentive service and the very best homemade cakes.

In July: They serve canned drinks and small snacks. The kitchen isn't large, but it's very reasonably priced and quick. The service is very friendly, and there's a lovely view. You can pay by card. They also serve delicious homemade cakes. Dogs are welcome.

Quiet, good food and sleep, we will be back

After a motorcycle ride, we stopped for lunch. The polenta with sausage and mushrooms was good, as were the other dishes, but the highlight for me was the apple pie with chocolate chips. A generous slice, tasty, soft, and slightly sweet, so much so that I enjoyed another... ...who knows if they'll be back tomorrow? Service was prompt.

I stopped for lunch after a hike on Mottarone.. it was very hot I had a focaccia with cheese and ham.. kind service. Good quality food. When it's less hot I will definitely come back to try the dishes of the kitchen. Honest prices. Beautiful view I recommend it

We stopped once we reached Mottarone on foot. Since it was the height of the ski season we couldn't find a place but we settled for the sandwiches that they kindly let us eat outside sitting at the tables. Modest choice and very active and helpful staff. Very nice place anyway both the dining room that we glimpsed and the outside terrace. The only thing if someone goes there in winter is to be careful because you have to cross the ski slope but above all the road is icy. We passed without problems thanks to the crampons that we kept for the whole excursion but those who arrive by car with hiking shoes must be very careful.
