Miil In Lana

Il Miil come sempre é una garanzia. Bella la location, sia esterna che interna, eccezionale la sala che guarda sul torrente affianco, resto dell'antico mulino, da cui prende appunto il nome. Pietanze ricercate e impiattate come un ristorante stellato, qualitá dei prodotti e ottimo servizio. Cenare al miil é sempre un viaggio che secondo me va accompagnato dagli ottimi vini della loro tenuta, Kränzelhof. I prezzi rispetto ad uno stellato sono decisamente piú abbordabili, certamente non é un ristorante economico ma il tutto é giustificato dai sapori e piatti che gusterete. Bravi davvero.

Very nice courtyard and attentive service.

This week we had lunch at Mill on wensday and saterday. Both times it was excellent. We loved the beef tartaar. The desserts are also very good. The winelist is amazing, we stuck to the wines from Sud Tirol. They are always very good. Service is excellent and the chef is fantastic. Alll the staff is very friendly and very qualified. Weder das Menü, noch der Service haben meine hohen Erwartungen aufgrund meiner bisherigen Erfahrungen treffen können. Ich habe in der direkten Umgebung in zwei verschiedenen Restaurants deutlich besser gegessen. Die einzelnen Gänge waren für meinen Geschmack von einzelnen, unterschiedlichen Komponenten so überladen, dass das Gericht undefiniert chaotisch wirkte. Überall zusätzliche Tupfer von Essenzen, optisch bunt mit Blümchen und Trüffel, geschmacklich unpassend. Ambitioniert am Ziel vorbeigeschossen, sehr schick und gehobenes Ambiente, der sehr junge Service einen Hauch zu devot. Hier möchte man eher gesehen werden, die Küche ist zweitrangig.

If South Tyrol then Miil! We've been to Miil a few times (alone or with a visitor) an excellent menu with many highlights! The staff seem to really enjoy themselves because everyone is friendly and has time to explain everything. Autumn is coming and we will definitely be back 👍
