Simply the best restaurant in the Merano area! A magical place that is both historical and modern with indoor and outdoor dining options that are tastefully decorated. The menu has a good choice of dishes and isn't overwhelming, but the wine and drinks list is extensive and well curated. The dishes themselves are stunning in execution with obvious great care and thought to their balance. The pasta dishes really stand out but you really can't go wrong with any choice. Desert doesn't disappoint either with the creme brulee being one of the very best I've ever tested. Service is prompt and courteous with a special mention for our host Nadine who was both warm and professional. Thanks to whole team at Miil, it truly is a special place.

A perfect example: last weekend I drove all the way from Germany to South Tyrol just for the five-course menu with wine pairings. I think that says it all! Thank you so much for your hard work and the passion you pour into every aspect of the restaurant. Whether it's the outstanding, competent service, the refined and innovative cuisine, or the simple yet beautiful interior. Please keep up the great work!

Everything about Miil is just perfect. The ambiance is top-notch, the service is excellent, the sommelier is superb, and the food is (almost) unbeatable. Finally, a restaurant that offers excellent wines by the glass – fantastic! Whether it's the dishes or the interior design, the attention to detail is evident everywhere.

A very bucolic setting from the parking spot near a ravine, to the entry terrace, to the old mill restaurant. If you want a high end 0km slow food pampering culinary experience this one is for you ! Greeted with a very generous local nibbles, homemade crostini, cold cuts and cheese. Wine offer is excellent and the staff manners impeccable like the dishes. The crème brulle out of this world ! Walked out with the chef ;) Amazing restaurant experience, will be back on my next visit for sure ! Highly recommended !

We tried the 90 euro tasting menu, which includes 5 courses and a welcome appetizer. For two, we spent 222 euros, including a glass of white and red of our choice, an extra glass of sparkling wine, and a half glass of sparkling wine. What can I say? Money well spent. The cuisine was amazing, especially the appetizer, which was divided into 5 small plates each. All the other courses were also a pleasant discovery, offering an explosion of flavors with every course. The service was friendly and unobtrusive, yet attentive. A great place to spend an evening in good company.

Beautiful restaurant, mixture of old and new. The service was superb, the staff were friendly and not pushy at all as some other reviewers had suggested. The food was excellent and the chef even made me a vegetarian dish off the menu to my liking. The prices were reasonable, nothing outrageous and no hidden costs. I totally enjoyed my visit, it was magical.

In the center of Cermes and next to the Kraenzelhof labyrinth gardens (which are definitely worth a visit), this welcoming and elegantly furnished restaurant, housed in the rooms of a former mill, is a must-visit for those who enjoy gourmet cuisine (including traditional dishes). The first courses, meat and fish dishes are excellent, as are the homemade breads and desserts (try the crème brûlée to believe it). The wine list includes whites and reds from the Kraenzelhof cellar, which can be tasted and purchased in the wine shop next to the restaurant. Highly recommended for the atmosphere, food quality, and service.
