Modern and cozy considering the location. A bit cold the temperature but ok. We ordered several dishes. The crudité of raw shrimps and fish was very good. The gnocchi dish tasted little and the potato sauce doesn't make much sense (potatoes plus potatoes). Desserts were of a lower level. Wine served not well and too cold for a red. But I would definitely come back.

Location molto particolare,fuori dagli schemi ma ,superate le prime perplessità vi tufferete in un’esperienza gastronomica veramente unica. Il bistrot offre la possibilità di apprezzare pietanze ricercate che non potranno che deliziare il vostro palato. Esperienza positiva che rifaremo sicuramente la prossima volta che ci troveremo in zona. A presto ed ancora complimenti!

Conosco da una vita il proprietario Stefano Sinibaldi, ex valente odontotecnico che si è messo, inizialmente non tra pochi sacrifici per dover combinare le due attività, a fare il ristoratore. E che ristoratore!! Intanto ha scelto un posto sconosciuto a tutti, recuperando (peraltro con uno stile industrial vintage da paura) un vecchio locale abbandonato da anni presso un distributore appena fuori da Venturina. E poi dedicandosi ad un menu, inizialmente solo di panini gourmet di grande innovazione, utilizzando osterie prime davvero a “MezzoKm”, poi arricchendolo con primi, secondi, contorni e dolci della tradizione, ma rivisitati, o completamente nuovi. Ieri sera ad esempio un mio amico ha mangiato un gulasch che aveva un sugo molto delicato e con una carne che si scioglieva in bocca. Quindi, tradizione (internazionale, in questo caso), ma rivisitata con ingrediente ed erbe locali in abbinamenti innovativi. Io invece ho preso degli gnocchetti cotti nell’acqua di cottura delle ostriche (appena scottate però) con ostrica cruda a guarnire (e a mangiare). Sembrava di avere il mare in bocca, con una delicatezza unica. Abbiamo perseguito poi con formaggi dei contadini della zona abbinati a miele e marmellate locali. Formaggi particolari però, non i classici. Il tutto condito da un ottimo rosso (un merlot in purezza) davvero eccezionale. Perché anche la cantina dei vini e degli champagne è, ovviamente, di qualità. Che dire? Niente, andateci e vi assicuro (e non perché è mio amico, ma perché amo mangiare bene e trovare sempre nuovi abbinamenti di cibo) che il prezzo vale totalmente quello che mangiate.

Incredible experience! While passing through Venturina, my fiance and I stopped at Mezzo Km, a restaurant conveniently located at a gas station. While seemingly unassuming from its location, the quality of food and service was what I would expect to experience at a top restaurant in New York. My fiancé ordered the homemade gnocchi with shrimp tartare and fried mussels and I opted for a Steak Filet Special (medium rare) which was topped with marinated egg yolk, truffles, and melted cheese. Both dishes were incredible! The gnocchi felt like I was eating soft pillowy clouds dipped in a special umami sauce, brightened by the sweetness of the shrimp tartare, and the steak was not only delicious but also perfectly cooked - it literally cut like butter! We had an incredible experience here, and would highly recommend this place to anyone for a delicious meal!

Dishes that are poetry of flavors ɓɓand colours. We tasted both sea and land foods, which were excellent. Truly pleasant and inviting presentation. Beautiful original environment, warm and full of charm.

Alchemical place: attention to detail and with a lot of charm due to the unusual location... in an area where there is a petrol station... Excellent gourmand sandwiches but also very refined dishes with top quality ingredients and a lot of imagination! Food and wine for fine palates..!!

At the top, found it by chance and it surprised us, excellent food
