Interesting Middle Eastern food with vegetarian options

Mezè Bistrot is one of the most delightful discoveries in the Monteverde neighborhood. The atmosphere is refined without being pretentious: soft lighting, tastefully chosen furnishings, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The cuisine is the true highlight: intelligently reinterpreted Mediterranean dishes, excellent ingredients, and a confident touch evident in every course. From appetizers to desserts, everything is balanced, never banal. The wine list is also excellent, with interesting and unexpected options. The service is attentive, friendly, and professional, with perfect timing and a rare care in explaining the dishes without being intrusive. A bistro that combines quality, creativity, and a pleasant atmosphere: an essential stop for anyone who lives or visits Monteverde. I will gladly return.

Fantastic neighborhood find ;) while walking one Sunday morning, my wife and I came across this wonderful Mediterranean bistro. The hummus and other staples were fresh and zesty, very authentic. The waitress was very sweet and the soft sound of the live jazz trio could be enjoyed even on the patio. We’ll be returning for sure.

It was quite disappointing. They’re capable of doing much better. Most of the dishes didn’t meet expectations, and it felt like the chef wasn’t well-versed in Mediterranean cuisine. The space also needs improvement; the ceiling caused noticeable echoes, making it difficult to have a conversation with my friends. To top it off, the owner made us wait until she finished her meal before giving us the check. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

When we take friends to Mezé for dinner and they ask, "What do you recommend?" we always reply, "Everything!" There's not a dish we don't want to try, from appetizers to main courses to desserts. The wine list also offers excellent value. The service is attentive, friendly, and precise. The best in the area! ♥️
