My Experience with Pizzeria "Mercurio"
Discovered by chance, this pizzeria was introduced to me by friends who brought me one of their pizzas, an ortolana. I ate it in the middle of the night, simply reheating it in a pan. What struck me was not only the dough, which held up perfectly (and I'm talking about a Roman pizza, thin and crispy!), but also the excellent selection of vegetables and the overall quality of the product. As someone who eats mostly plant-based, I greatly appreciated the care taken in choosing the ingredients.
Determined to try the full experience, I went straight there. This time I opted for a simple Margherita, which turned out to be delicious. But the real surprise was the appetizer: a bruschetta with Julietta's vegan cheese, truly exceptional.
The place, though small, is very welcoming. The owners are kind and helpful, and you can immediately sense their passion for using quality ingredients.
Now, when I'm on the road for work, it's become a regular stop. I highly recommend it; go try it!

A modern restaurant, not very large, but very, very well-maintained. The relaxed atmosphere is truly appreciable, unlike your average pizzeria where the buzz of conversation in the dining room prevents you from fully enjoying your time there. The staff is friendly and, thankfully, always smiling. As for the pizzas, there's nothing to complain about (light dough, very pleasing to the palate), and the toppings are excellent. The price is fair for the quality, and I hope to return soon.

This place has an amazing staff and great pizza. Everyone was super nice, the food came out very quickly and we appreciated that the staff spoke English. We enjoyed the food so much we came back again for a second time the following week. There are great beer options and the little fried pizza dough with the purée was so yummy! We finished it off with a crème brûlée for dessert. Thank you for being so friendly and for the amazing food!

Don't call it gourmet pizza, it's a pizza that includes refined and studied ingredients that enhance the flavors of what you order.
The supplì are amazing, they make you wonder how it's possible that they have that flavor.
There are no industrial ingredients in the dishes and the drinks are all artisanal, except for some bitters.
The service is friendly and attentive.
The place is not very big, I suggest booking.
If you have small 4-legged friends who love them more than you, the owner makes and packages biscuits for them.
The prices, rightly above average, can only be discussed after having had an experience in this place.
I recommend it and will definitely go back.

Intrigued by the many reviews praising the possibility of tasting a real DOC “Roman pizza”, I decided to try, together with my family, this place that was still unknown to me, despite it having been open for many years.
Upon arrival, we were positively impressed by the convenience of the large adjacent parking lot. Upon entering, we were surprised by the refined and unconventional decor for a pizzeria: an elegant environment, embellished with spectacular chandeliers and pleasant background music.
We were welcomed with courtesy by Luca, attentive and thoughtful, and later we met Marco, the owner and master pizza chef. With great passion he told us about his commitment to choosing the ingredients and taking care of the dough, revealing an authentic dedication to the profession.
After consulting a menu full of original proposals, we started with a delicious tasting of bruschetta: two with confit datterino tomatoes and crystallized basil, and one with Montoro onions, confit datterino tomatoes, basil, seven peppers and pistachios. Intense and well-balanced flavors.
While waiting for the pizzas — a Margherita, a Re Italo and a Puttanesca — all extraordinarily crunchy and thin, as per authentic Roman tradition, we were offered a refined amuse-bouche, a gesture of great attention and courtesy towards the guests.
We accompanied the meal with a Scarlet beer with cornel cherries, an excellent choice among the many artisanal labels offered by Alessia, who carefully selects excellent breweries such as Ofelia, Luppolaio Farmhouse Brewery and 32 Via dei Birrai.
To finish on a sweet note, a spectacular “Ciuri Ciuri” cannolo filled with almond ricotta, dark chocolate, pistachios and candied orange peel: a true triumph of flavours.
The bill, it is true, is not that of a traditional pizzeria, but here we are talking about something completely different: excellent quality, creativity and authentic culinary passion. Really well done. I can only enthusiastically recommend this tasty experience.

Irresistible pampering for the palate! The caprese presents an elegant and harmonious composition: the confit cherry tomatoes, cooked at low temperature, express a concentrated and natural sweetness that dialogues with the freshness of the crystallized basil, to complete the dish, the high quality stracciatella, soft and milky, which gives roundness and creaminess to the bite. The result is a pizza that is visually refined and balanced in flavor.
Cacio e pepe relies on one of the most iconic combinations of Roman cuisine, interpreted here with extreme precision. The dough, the result of a long leavening, is extremely digestible. Crispy base, an ideal structure that supports the condiments without compromising their lightness. Two good pizzas to eat and look at.
