Mercure Tirrenia Green Park In Pisa

Because of all the reviews we read, we doubted whether we should go. We finally went and were very surprised to see where these reviews all came from. The park looks very nice and clean. There is a lot of peace and quiet and that is what you look for on holiday. The pools are incredibly clean and wonderful to swim in and yes you do have to wear a swimming cap, but that is one of the reasons it is so clean. There is plenty of room to chill at the pool and there is no mass tourism, so you can chill in peace and quiet. The breakfast is standard but enough to start a day. The evening meal is perfect with varied dishes every day where you can taste that attention has been paid to them. The waiters who work there are very friendly and ready to help everyone. The rooms we had were very nice and every day the bed was made new and the towels replaced. We mopped every other day and yes, sometimes there is a little sand when you have been to the sea, but that can also happen at home :) The hotel is perfectly located for going to the sea where you can choose from several beach bars to lie down and eat/drink. In short, the hotel is definitely worth it and is also ideally located between the famous cities that you want to visit. A very nice change between sun, sea, peace and the hustle and bustle of the cities. What, in my opinion, you are looking for when you have a holiday for yourself. We will certainly keep this in mind for next year.

The complex is very nice, clean and the pool is also very nice and clean. Unfortunately the rooms (superior) were a disaster. They are not cleaned properly. The cleaning lady doesn't even have a bucket to mop through. Everything is cleaned with a rag, including every room.

The restaurant and restaurant staff were amazing, friendly and helpful staff for everything, good food. The rooms are a bit like this (also due to the high price) but I was satisfied but it's not enough for those who want something "luxury".

Lovely hotel. Rooms nice and clean. Great value for money. The buffet restaurant offers good food for a reasonable price. Also plenty of restaurants on the square outside the hotel. Pisa just a 30 minutes drive away. The beautiful town of Lucca 45 minutes. Pools are super clean and not overcrowded. Plenty of sunbeds. Staff has been very friendly and helpful. Perfect for a peaceful family holiday.

The hotel is oversold on booking sites and social media. Rooms are small, furniture is old, mold can be found near the airco. The people that work here are amazingly friendly and do their best. Which made the stay not all that bad.

Well-kept internal park. Rooms to be reviewed, dirty and obsolete. Swimming pool not used as it felt like being in Mirabilandia due to shouting and shouting for the exclusive use of children.

There is nothing to do in the area, you have to go somewhere by car to get something to eat We had a great time with the family, but this is our first time in Italy and that's about it

The rooms were fine enough and it's a nicely landscaped place. The breakfast wasn't quite my cup of tea however I think it's a decent deal for maybe a day or two, beyond that I'd recommend venturing out. My biggest gripe is the room locations on the property. We legit had a half mile or more walk from the entrance of the property back to the building where our room was located. I'm not lazy but that's just obnoxious. They should allow you to enter and exit through the closer gate with your room key. My second gripe, I booked for a few nights but wanted to extend a night, I emailed and called and both times was told it wasn't possible. However, when I went online it showed availability if you were trying to book that night along with one other. But if you ONLY wanted to book that one night, it said no availability. My buddy who was booking after me was shown that he was able to book the entire timeframe if he wanted. So the best we can think is that they have a two night minimum stay on Fridays and their system is so stringent that it wouldn't even let them add a night to my already three night stay. Oh well, we moved down to the Grand Continental for that last night and would actually recommend there instead.
