Without a doubt, Muve is the best university cafeteria in Catania. I've been going there for years and have always had a great experience. The selection is vast and caters to all students' needs, while also offering a chance to unwind from the hustle and bustle of university life. Not to mention the wonderful staff, including Chef Nello, who helps make the cafeteria feel like a home for all of us students. I highly recommend it.

THE BEST UNIVERSITY CANTEEN IN CATANIA❤, when I come for lunch I feel like I'm already part of the family, since I know the guys who work there and they are always very kind and friendly, I give my best compliments to the Chef, the best of all, for making me eat very well, nothing to do with the other canteens

I've been to all the ERSU university cafeterias and I can say this one is on a whole other level. Both for the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the services offered.

For close to a year now, I have used the 3 University Restaurants ( Orbedan, Citadella and Muve) but Muve is by far the best of all. When I have my lunch or dinner at Muve I feel like I haven't wasted my meal ticket. #MUVE TUTTI L'ANNO#. ~ BRAVO MUVE ~

I recommend this Mensa to all students. There's most of the times a good variety in the menu, and there are nice staff. Chef Nello is the best. BTW, you can get a free coffee with your meal.

It is certainly not possible to make a comparison with other "canteens". MUVE, in fact, is much more than a canteen: it is a place where you can breathe the air of home and, above all, the smell of excellent food. The team is made up of people who really work, with commitment and dedication, and who know how to welcome you every day with a big smile. Thank you MUVE!

What can I say about the best canteen in Catania? In a few words, this is not a simple canteen, when I go to the muve I feel welcomed as if I were returning home from a tiring day of work. The staff is not friendly, MORE!! At the MUVE canteen we are a big family and even if it's been just over a year I already feel like I'm part of it too. The exceptional food is incomparable with other canteens, it feels like eating at home. Thank you for everything you do for us ❤️

The best canteen in Catania, nothing to do with the monstrosities that are the cittadella (god save us) and the oberdan. Great quality and variety of food. All tasty and genuine. Keep it up

11/09/2025: A charming place located in one of the city's central areas. Not too big, they also offer outdoor seating in the summer. The ingredients are fresh, the salads are plentiful, and the sandwiches are satisfying. The prices are average, considering Catania isn't known for its low prices, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The place is well-kept and has a focus on charming details, including books and a small stand with used clothing. The menu is printed on paper and pasted inside an old novel. The waiter even notes your table on a piece of recycled paper. These are small details that are definitely worth noting. I recommend booking because the kitchen closes at 2:30 PM if there's no one waiting.
26/08/2025: August 26, 2025, we stumbled upon it by chance, and it truly was a stroke of luck. If you're looking for unusual salads that are beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious to eat, this is the place for you. Excellent value for money.
