I don't live in Italy, but I'm grateful to Mediaset for denouncing the shameful situation of Spanish immigrants in the Netherlands, right in the heart of Europe. That's why I want to contribute to this denunciation, so that my 50,000 followers are informed about what's happening in the Netherlands, which is what I try to do with my reviews: inform my followers. They aren't workers; they are the new slaves of Europe. Public denunciation following the report on "Fuera de Cobertura" (Cuatro) As a 61-year-old Spanish citizen, I am addressing the public, the media, and European authorities after witnessing with absolute outrage the reality faced by our compatriots in the Netherlands. It is unacceptable that in the 21st century, and within the European Union, the following practices are permitted: Zero-Hour Contracts: A system of modern slavery where the worker must be available 24 hours a day to be called in with only 2 hours' notice, without a guaranteed salary or job security. Coercion and Fear: Those who cannot respond to an immediate call are punished by being denied work, even though they lack the resources for a return ticket to Spain. Barracks and Exploitation: Temporary employment agencies (TEAs) enrich themselves at the expense of the desperation of people who are simply seeking a decent future. I demand that: The Spanish Government and the Ministry of Labor take action to investigate the TEAs operating from here, recruiting people to be exploited in the Netherlands. The European Union audit the living conditions in logistics and agricultural centers in the Netherlands. Whistleblowers be protected so they are not afraid of losing what little they have for telling the truth. We cannot look the other way while our young people and workers are sold like cheap merchandise! How can you make this go further? They're not workers, they're the new slaves of Europe. Going to Mediaset is always a pleasure. Besides meeting old friends, you also bump into famous people from the entertainment world.

Visiting as a member of the audience for a television show. Overall, the organization was good, though some areas could be improved, such as the audience waiting rooms, which were uncomfortable and drab compared to the rest of the studios. The cloakroom space was lacking, and the audience seating was extremely uncomfortable. The entire staff deserves full marks.

I was in the audience for a show that will be broadcast on TV

Fantastic experience at Mediaset, beautiful studios, many of the staff were kind, friendly, and intelligent, except for one, Fabio, a security operator. This security guard was disrespectful, a professional security guard, but he disrespected me in front of members of the public, including customers of my shop. He's a fairly competent person, but I'm sorry he doesn't have the proper training to deal with certain people. The incident is this: while he was doing his job of seating the audience according to the instructions (he counted one more than the other, so since I was the last one, I had to walk all the way back out of the theater alone), my 19-year-old friend asked to take a photo. We were all happy for him. At this point, I, standing next to my friend, this Fabio, turned to me and said that, in order to take a photo with the genuine showgirl Isobel, I had positioned myself disrespectfully. This is not my style. I have witnesses to what happened, and in any case, there are cameras. The only regret is having to write about this experience. Although I think this Fabio is a good worker (I have always praised him to his colleagues as a competent person), he is a person who, despite not remembering the facts, speaks about them in a mythical way. Evidently, I was wrong in my assessment, and not just me. As you can see from the photo, out of respect and politeness, I will not lay a finger on him. Luckily, the excellence lies in the television program, the fun is the friendliness of the organizers and staff, including Fabio, who cannot make me forget this episode but at least alleviate my bewildered, disturbed, intimidated, dismayed, surprised, disconcerted, anguished state.
