This review would be a 5 star if you opened for the 6 nations rugby between Ireland and England. I understand that the match was on outside your normal afternoon opening hours but some things are sacrosanct when you declare yourself to be an Irish pub! Even if you get few customers you have to open for these occasions, it's part of who you are! That said I totally understand your reply to the eejit who gave you a crap review when you turned down the telly for the other matches after the Irish game the previous week!

This bar is very popular and a great place to enjoy drinks and chat with friends. The service is friendly, and the food is delicious. A nice spot to relax and have a good time.

We've been in the area for a while, but we were pleasantly surprised by the place, its classic boozy vibe that smacks of minimalism, and the food selection. Very good sandwiches and an excellent beer selection. Pumpkin beer, pumpkin sandwich, and cider were top notch! It's a shame we had a small mishap with the sandwich, but it can happen. We'll definitely be back.

We only had drinks here, so I can’t comment on the food, but the selection of draft beers and spirits was great, and the bartenders were really friendly. Unfortunately, the cider wasn’t on tap, but the bottled one was still tasty. It would have been nice to have some salty snacks available — after a few drinks we ended up spending quite a bit — but that’s just a small suggestion and didn’t take away from the great atmosphere of the place.

08/03/2026: Nice location, friendly staff, generous portions. We ordered two different meat menus and two different fish menus, and then we tried everyone's dishes. The four of us at the table had a very positive opinion; the dishes were truly tasty and generous.
09/02/2026: A simple, typically Italian restaurant with a very friendly, family atmosphere—you can tell many of the customers are regulars, friends, and local families. The food is also simple and unpretentious: decent and enjoyable pizzas and pasta, nothing exceptional, but well-prepared. However, the salads were a bit of a letdown. That said, overall it's a good place to eat, with fair prices and a welcoming atmosphere. A solid 4/5.
