Meat In Latina

They are young and should be encouraged because they give their best, delicious food, tasteful wines and they satisfy. Talk to the owner Emanuele if you find him; he is a person who knows how to accommodate every need and help you with your choice. All the food is delicious. Even the cheeses are a real treat.

A few nights ago I had dinner at MEAT. I couldn't fault the service, the welcome, or the kindness, but... when we sat down, there were only three other tables occupied in the room. We had to wait about 1 hour and 15 minutes for anything to be brought to the table. It was a disheveled tartare that, in my humble opinion, didn't make much sense, raw meat with an egg on top... not exactly the best. I ordered a rare picanha, which was a good-quality cut, but burned on one side and completely raw on the other. I didn't raise any issues with the management because I didn't feel like arguing, but presenting a dish like that makes me think I might not return. It's a real shame to treat a good cut of meat that way! The wine is good and there's a wide selection. The first courses were good, according to my companions, but I was really disappointed, especially because I had enjoyed them there a long time ago!
