If you're looking for authentic, excellent Italian food, this is the place to be! We've been to this trattoria more than once! ;)

We were only in Meta for one night, and our hotel recommended this restaurant — so off we went. From the outside it looks quite small, but it opens up beautifully at the back where we were seated. We skipped the entrées and went straight to the mains, and wow — every dish was cooked to perfection! We ordered the mixed grilled meat platter, a T-bone steak, grilled lamb chops, pasta Alfredo, and a Margherita pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and incredibly tender. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food, and the staff were polite and welcoming. We would definitely return again.

It may look a bit weird when you arrive there, but I promise, the food is really something. The price is a bit higher that usual, but the quality of the food is also higher that usual. I had the pasta with seafood and this was absolutely amazing. Felt pretty special. The pasta and seafood was well done in combination with oil and herbs. It did not feel oily or heavy. It was on point. And the handmade bread, for dipping the saucy rest of the dish, was just the perfect fit. Do I recommend this place? Yes, absolutely! The owner is also ultra friendly. Thank you for being a hidden gem in my travel here.
