We had the pleasure of visiting the "Cironi" slaughterhouse during a guided tour organized by the Sandro Pertini Agricultural Institute, and the experience was truly informative and interesting. The veterinarian was extremely professional and was able to clearly and sensitively explain all aspects of the process, answering students' questions with great availability. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we could sense the owners' commitment to ensuring an educational and respectful outing. It was an experience that allowed us all to better understand the dynamics of food production, in a practical and engaging way. We definitely recommend this visit to all schools looking to enrich their education with a unique opportunity.
P.S.: the freshly baked porchetta sandwich was excellent!
The quality of artisanal products. That's what makes this butcher shop a point of reference. Livestock raised on site and expertly processed guarantee high-quality meats, like their porchetta, which in my opinion is superior to those from the Castelli Romani. At prices that will make you avoid large retailers. We eat less, we eat better.
