Lovely afternoon tasting different wines and basking in the sun. Bryce knew his stuff about the wines and was very passionate about them. Particularly enjoyed the rose' so we bought a bottle. Very welcoming and attentive to their customers, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Wanaka or a local. Great experience.

A lovely way to spend an afternoon basking in the sun at Maude! The wine tasting was super fun and Lewis was really knowledgeable about the different wines. The tasting was really casual (in a good way) and our whole tasting group had lots of yarns and laughs while trying some wines. The wines themselves were delicious! Maude is a stellar little spot, beautiful view and fab customer service! The rosé was a real winner!

A fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Went away impressed and with happy tastebuds after an entertaining (and tasty) wine tasting. Lewis (Louis?) knew his stuff and made it feel like we all knew one another. Plus each Maude wine tasted better than the last, which was no small feat considering we started with the delicious traditionale.

We had a fantastic visit to Maude on a recent visit to Wanaka. Being from a wine region in the US, we have been to many wineries and tasting rooms and Maude did not disappoint. The wine and setting is wonderful, but our experience was above and beyond thanks to Lewis. He was not only a fun and friendly host, but extremely knowledgeable about the wine, the region and was able to answer our obscure questions and talk shop with us. Thank you, Lewis!

Our visit to Maude tasting room was an exceptional experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with the wines some of the best we had stamped while in New Zealand. Lewis hosted us and his knowledge of the winery and wines was great, his obvious passion for wine definitely came through. All in all a wonderful experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.

Had THE best wine tasting experience at Maude Wines. Very knowledgeable sommelier, who stepped us through several wines, all delicious and true to the tasting notes. We decided to indulge in a brie soaked in oil, with bread to help soak up some alcohol. Friends turned up just as we were leaving, so we stayed on! Had some very scrummy bubbles, more nibbles and headed on our way. Open for set course French dinners at night. We're definately booking in for that! A great spot, right above the town. Use your GPS as not currently signposted.

We had a wonderful wine tasting, hosted by Lewis who was an absolute superstar. Funny, informative and very welcoming to our group. Highly recommend popping by… and don’t be afraid to give him a bit of banter. The wines were wonderful and the story behind them very interesting. It’s also a lovely venue, very handy to town, so very accessible. Enjoy!

What an amazing experience at Maude. Great wine, with a fantastic selection of food, and that view from the patio is absolutely stunning. The best part was the service from Lewis. He made the whole experience even better with his attention to customers and personalized touches. Would come back in a heart beat.
