I won't talk about the kitchen next door, where I only ate once and I don't have precise memories, but I'll only talk about the American bar where I often go for an aperitif. One of the few places left in Genoa where people still drink at a good level, the bartender, Paolo, is trained and professional, able to prepare the great classics, as well as the most recent cocktails, always the right glass, the right product, in short, always capable of satisfying the most demanding and knowledgeable customers.

16/01/2025: We went for lunch and had a good meal. The pansotti with walnut sauce and the mandillos with pesto are good. Excellent quality/price ratio. The only negative note is that it takes a little long
03/01/2025: I've been wanting to try the best pesto in Genoa for a long time, at least according to chef Simone Rugiati who awarded this place first place in his Food Advisor program. I must say that expectations were not betrayed, on the contrary. The trenette with pesto, green beans and potatoes are pure poetry. I tasted various types of pesto during our 4-day Ligurian holiday but theirs beat them all. Very good, very tasty, very fragrant, generous portion and delicious slipper at the end. The best green gold in Liguria, not just in Genoa!!! Highly recommended!!!
