Loved the squid ink pasta 🦑
Had a pinze (a small 6 slice pizza) with salmon and cream cheese which was great
For mains we had a pasta dish and the sliced beef with rocket and parmesan cheese 🧀
Both very good
Paired with a nice full bodied red wine “Ribeca”
Usually would go for a full bodied red but in Sicily have found a lot of the reds very light like a pinot Noir I think that was quite nice have something different

Recommended by a cousin, it turned out to be an excellent place. Really excellent and quality fish, especially the fried calamari. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Well what can I say, it is a corner of paradise in the historic center of Agrigento, with a very suggestive view. The dishes we tasted were delicious and balanced, flavors that intertwined with the flavor of the sea and the smells of the land. Quality raw material. Very knowledgeable, friendly and nice staff.

Food was good: not convinced, trout on potatoes, didn't understand.
and to the local: furniture/upholstery heavily worn. Given the prices, a tablecloth would also be nice, not a paper set..//. The boss or managing director was on site... sloppily dressed, uninterested, probably loves chewing gum more than good food. stark contrast… therefore unfortunately not supporting this restaurant even though the food and service were good.

I was in this place on Friday, as soon as I arrived I was struck by the location... what can I say is unique! Matra was the restaurant where I felt pampered, satisfied and satisfied in every aspect. Incredible raw materials, great professionalism and kindness but above all a service aimed at customer satisfaction. Congratulations to all the staff, I highly recommend it.
