Yesterday I stopped by Materia asking if they had vegan options. Let me start by saying, I was absolutely thrilled. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, welcoming me with a smile, and preparing me a sandwich that for a few seconds made me forget who I was 😅. Vegetables, carefully cooked separately with their marinade, caramelized onion, and then he added the special ingredient, the care. I watched him prepare the sandwich from the open kitchen; you could feel all the passion, care, and love for his work. He didn't just add a few vegetables to make me happy, as often happens in places when I say I'm vegan. That sandwich tasted as good as one made by my mom. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I truly wish you all the best. ☺️

A wonderful discovery in Brindisi, a restaurant/bistro I wasn't familiar with. Excellent food, succulent, expertly cooked meat. In my personal experience, the food was good, but the sandwiches were thinly stuffed, the potatoes were raw and overcooked, and the place was extremely hot. So, in my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend it.
