Last night we had the opportunity to try this restaurant, Matarò, for the first time.
We found the location to be very thoughtful... thanks to all the staff, we received an excellent welcome.
There is table service, always friendly, and among the many choices on the menu, we wanted to try several typical local dishes, such as frisa Salentina, pittule Salentine, and the various types of fried foods, all excellent!
The pizza and puccia, their specialties, were exquisite, their signature dish!
We will definitely return, and I thank Mataró again for satisfying our palate and providing us with a delicious dinner.

The staff is very friendly and well-organized. The food was prepared quickly and was simply fantastic—authentic Salento flavor!
The semi-self-service concept, where you pick up your food and drinks yourself, allows you to save on the cover charge—a great idea for the customer.
I highly recommend Pizzeria Mataro to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Salento pizza in a pleasant atmosphere.

The atmosphere was meticulously maintained.
Excellent table service. With a table of 12 people, the wait was minimal. Everything was delicious, and the staff was attentive to every customer's request.
Prices are affordable for everyone.
