How low is your selectivity. How much of a nation are we that has been accustomed and convinced to mediocrity. I think those who give these high scores are bots. It is not worth it, my friends, we are a nation that has a hard time earning money. There are other places that are much better. There are even better places where you can eat standing up. Don't look at the comments made with the deception of social media. I think that's why everyone feels obliged to like themselves. Go somewhere else.

Wonderful meal out with the family (2 adults and 2 kids). Staff were very friendly and attentive. Staff joked with our kids just like our Zia’s Zio’s back home would.
The food was fantastic. We ordered Spaghetti de Mare, Gnocchi with Ox-tail, Gnocchi with a tomato, guanciale and cheese sauce, as well as a Napoli pinsa.
All delicious. Would recommend.
We were seated as soon as we arrived - but we were out early as we had kids. The pace filled up quickly.

A definite recommendation! Although the restaurant is located in the heart of the tourist area of Trastevere, it is also recommended by locals. We ate at four restaurants in Rome. Ranging from satisfactory to very good, Mastrociccia wasn't the only restaurant we visited that received a "very good" rating. However, for typical Roman appetizers like suppli or the artichokes "alla giudea," for the excellent bruschetta, and for some pasta dishes, it was the best osteria we visited. The very attentive service and reasonable prices rounded off the pleasant experience.

Mastrociccia in Rome Italy is everything you could want in an Italian bistro. Hustling and busy yet with fast and attentive service marshalled by the good natured and often humorous owner. We were a party of 4 but our Italian guests were 30 minutes late. The owner never showed any impatience or irritation in our delay of ordering even though the restaurant was very busy. One of our guests gobbled through his Linguine Vongoli which was a large portion so fast that he wanted another order but his wife intervened. We will definitely return when we are next in Rome which is at least once per year.

I have been to this tavern several times and it always confirms my expectations. It offers typical Roman dishes but also "revisited" dishes with original and tasty combinations and top quality ingredients. The pinsa are also very good.

The pizzas were a little different because they are made with a slightly thicker base than usual. It was really delicious and good. 🤩 Starter burrata bread with ham! 🤩

I went to restaurants while traveling around Italy for two weeks, and this place is really delicious. Come here. I recommend the seafood mix pasta, and I ate all the sauce. You absolutely must try the tiramisu. It melts in your mouth.
