Hi, I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Mast restaurant in Fiumicino, a place that I discovered through some videos on YouTube that intrigued me to the point of convincing me to try this experience. I must say that expectations were not only met, but even exceeded! The restaurant offers two menus: one for €24.90 and another for €35. The latter, instead of cooked appetizers, includes an assortment of raw fish specialties and fresh mussels, such as oysters, pink prawns and scampi, depending on the availability of the day. Both menus offer a selection of fish dishes, accompanied by drinks included. It's rare to find such excellent value for money, especially when it comes to fish. I had dinner here with a group of friends and we were all extremely satisfied. Starters included fried lattarini, octopus salad, octopus and potatoes, marinated anchovies and breaded and fried cod. For the first course, it is possible to choose (decided by the whole table) between a generous single dish – such as spaghetti alla guitar with clams, which we found really well done – or two half-first courses, for example, gnocchi with mussels and pecorino and a tagliolini with sea bream and lemon, which was really special. The second courses, fixed on the menu, include grilled prawns and a mixed fry of calamari and prawns. The service was quick and efficient, with friendly and always available waiters. Their professionalism helped make the evening even more pleasant. The preparation of the dishes was impeccable, with attention to detail that denotes a great passion for cooking. The fish, fresh and cooked to perfection, is undoubtedly the strong point of the restaurant. Each dish was executed with a mastery not easily found, and the entire meal was a delight from start to finish. In conclusion, Mast in Fiumicino is a restaurant that I highly recommend. If you are looking for a place to eat well without spending a fortune, with a great atmosphere and excellent service, this is the ideal place. There will be no shortage of other opportunities to come back to eat.

Festa della donna, anche se notevolmente in ritardo siamo stati accolti con il sorriso da Gabriele che più volte si è preoccupato di assicurarsi che la serata procedesse bene. Ottimi gli gnocchetti cozze e pecorino e la frittura abbondante, torneremo sicuramente. Un saluto a Gabriele...
