Flavors of home! This farm was an excellent discovery, truly home-made and plentiful food. We were already full with the starter (which I highly recommend), we struggled to finish the second course, which was equally delicious. Really great prices. Super recommended for those who want to eat a lot and well!

The quaint venue exceeded our expectations. It stands out for its traditional cuisine, offering dishes that, although revisited, maintain the right balance between innovation and tradition without altering the taste. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. Fully satisfied.

Great place! Elisabetta took care of us. she is an outstanding “cameriere” La Masseria Urbana is family owned. Even though we had a server, the owner and his son were around and making sure we had a great meal. The owner brought a digestive as well towards the end of the evening. Grazie mille, La masseria è di gran lunga!

High quality Calabrian restaurant/trattoria. Best restaurant in Gioia Tauro. Typical cuisine prepared with attention and friendly, fast service. The meat my girlfriend had was very tender and the appetizer delicious and plentiful. probably the best restaurant I've ever been to for quality/price. We spent 19 euros each. really good.

13/01/2025: I am writing very late, but it is necessary. We were in this place about ten days ago, on a Friday. What can I say? A wonderful experience. The quality and "grace" of the dishes are indisputable. Dishes cooked well, respecting the raw materials, plentiful and beautiful to look at. We were a table of 16 people and, despite the room being full of other customers, we had fast and top-notch service. But the added value is the availability, the courtesy, the welcome of the owner who makes you feel truly at home. The boy who served us was also very polite and professional. If you want to eat stockfish properly, it's the right place. We'll be back and thank you!

02/02/2025: Historic pub in Villa San Giovanni. The cuisine offers a bit of everything but the sandwiches are unbeatable, rich and tasty. Wide choice of beers. Moderate prices. It's very crowded at the weekend, I recommend going midweek.
01/02/2025: Friendly and helpful staff. Only problem was that I thought it was a pub. In reality, the beers on tap are few and of low quality. There are NO craft beers on tap or local beers. Instead, it is an excellent restaurant with a vast menu. From meat to fish, first courses, second courses, salads, sandwiches, burgers etc etc. They make everything except pizza. We had 2 draft beers "lagunitas ipa" (a beer that can also be found in the supermarket) of half a liter for €6.50, a salad and an appetizer. The dishes were excellent and made with care. Even the bread brought with the salad was fresh, excellent and plentiful. In summary I recommend it as a restaurant. But I don't recommend it for anyone looking for beer tasting.
