Let's start by saying that the room was absolutely the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. A huge room in an old farmhouse with star vaults, two double beds, fine furnishings and finishes that respect the true Salento tradition. The structure in general is also very beautiful, well-kept and clean. However, there are some flaws that one would not expect from a 5-star hotel with the name Baglioni. Pools that require considerable maintenance, the pillars that support the floating wooden structures appear old and ruined, the children's pool is slippery and has a ruined bottom in various places. The sunbeds around the children's pool are dirty and with the fabric torn in some places.
The restaurant has absolutely disproportionate prices compared to the dish itself, moreover we are not talking about a vast and inviting choice, rather subdued. There was also an incident regarding a dish that wasn't even taken for granted (let alone offered). Even the room cleaning service didn't quite live up to the name, dirty cups and glasses were left during the afternoon cleaning (which we had to request).
The spa also had a cold pool due to a maintenance problem.
A real shame because the structure itself has very high potential and there are many things that work well. The staff is very kind and friendly, the shuttle service is very convenient, also the whatsapp service for various requests at the reception. But I wouldn't go back... too bad!
I am so glad that I chose to stay at Masseria Muzza when we visited Puglia. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. They helped us book a day at a local beach club and the hotel had a shuttle to take us there and back. The breakfast each morning was amazing. The grounds and the pool area were beautiful and peaceful. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend staying here when in Puglia!

Charming farmhouse, qualified and always available staff. Everything taken care of down to the smallest detail. Undoubtedly one of the best farms in Puglia.

I appreciated the hotel's sustainability, renovating a chicken farm into a hotel, and enjoyed the gym with weights, a rarity in coastal hotels. The hotel also thoughtfully gifted me flowers for my birthday.
However, I encountered several issues. While using the gym, cleaners swept around me, which felt inappropriate and disruptive. Additionally, the strong scent of artificial air freshener or cleaning supplies in the room caused me allergies and breathing difficulties, despite notifying the staff. The views were disappointing, obstructed by trees and surrounded by village-like surroundings, including visible garbage bins.
Service was also problematic. We struggled to re-enter the hotel after an early morning swim as the gate wouldn’t open without reception's help, making us feel restricted. We also faced disruptions from cleaning staff who didn't respect the "Do Not Disturb" sign, causing further inconvenience.
Food quality didn't match the hotel's price point. While some buffet items were good, the poached and soft-boiled eggs were undercooked, and the breakfast coffee was disappointing compared to the excellent room coffee machine. Overall, the service, food quality, and room issues fell short of the expected luxury experience. It also felt like we were in a summer camp and had to oblige the hotels timelines.
I didn’t take many photos at the hotel as we spent most of the time outside exploring Lecce, Otranto, and the sea coast.

It was truly a honour to spend 3 nights in this beautiful Masseria. It wasn’t just the spacious rooms and their state of the art facilities that lightened our trip but the kind and helping staff which truly transformed our trip. Facilities such as the spa and the gym were outstanding as weIl as one of the best pools you could
ever ask for. I would like to give a special mention to chef Luigi who not only happily provided us with mouth watering food but cheerfully invited us to an astounding masterclass teaching my son and I how to make his impeccable zucchini flower tempura. All in all the experience was one of the most memorable places to go to and the staff are willing to do anything even to teach you how to make their exemplary food. Highly recommend and a must stay place in your Puglia itinerary!!
