A unique experience thanks to the owner, who made us feel at home, as if we were family.
The traditional Molise peasant appetizers—fusilli with sauce, I'd say, were superb—we finished with a mixed grill of lamb, pancetta, and exceptional sausage.
Meanwhile, they also offered us a few seafood dishes, such as grouper ravioli with seafood, mixed fried fish, and battered cod.
Everything was truly delicious, and above all, kindness and cheerfulness accompanied our lunch.
To conclude the meal, a trio of desserts with coffee and liqueurs.

A corner of authentic cuisine and genuine hospitality!
The food is truly excellent, authentic, and full of home-made flavors: you can taste that every dish is prepared with care and passion.
The atmosphere is relaxed and familiar, and the owner makes all the difference: he's incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel immediately at ease. It's one of those places where you eat well, feel good... and want to return!
Highly recommended for those who love good food and an authentic atmosphere.

My name is Antonio Di Nardo, I live in Rome but was born in Campolieto, Molise. Yesterday, August 7, 2025, I was looking for a restaurant for lunch and was told "ANTICHI SAPORI di Bonefro." When I arrived, the owner, with a kind smile, told me it was fully booked due to a holiday event. I regretfully acknowledged it with a smile and was about to leave. At that point, the owner's typical Molise kindness came to the fore. I must have taken pity on him, and he asked his son Pier Paolo to prepare an emergency table outside in the forecourt. Pier Paolo put me in the shade and made sure everything was just right. Those of you who read my review should know that for me, it was a day of heaven. The view was spectacular because the restaurant is located quite high up on a hill. I wish I could write much more to share the pleasure I experienced at lunch yesterday, but I'll keep it short. The most important thing I enjoyed, I repeat, was the ABSOLUTE courtesy I received. To avoid any problems, given the busy restaurant, I asked for a first and second course at the manager's convenience. I ate a plate of fusilli with tomato sauce, which delighted my palate while chatting pleasantly with a customer from Montorio and his daughter. I met and chatted with several other customers throughout lunch. A light breeze kept me company as I ate and chatted. I enjoyed a mixed grill with a flavor so intense you'll only find it in some restaurants in Molise. To confirm the deliciousness of the grill, a few honeybees came to sample the leftovers, which were also beautiful to look at. I didn't want to disturb them any further, but I also asked for dessert, a slice of cake with lemon cream. I didn't ask if it was homemade or from a local pastry shop. My favorite dessert is lemon delight, a dessert from Campania, and I assure you, this was superior. Despite the busy restaurant, they served me promptly and courteously. When I asked the owner for the bill, I had to ask him to repeat it, thinking I'd misunderstood, so cheap it was. Seeing my modest surprise, the owner sensed my astonishment and, with a kind, pleased smile, exclaimed... BUT IT'S JUST A PLATE OF PASTA... Needless to say, I'll be back to the restaurant to savor the ANTICHI FLAVORS and, even more, the exquisite courtesy, which I didn't even have to pay for... It's a family-run restaurant, and I assure you, yesterday I felt like I'd found PARADISE ON EARTH.

Beautiful place ❤️. We ate both seafood and meat dishes. The appetizers were plentiful and delicious, the first courses excellent, and then we stopped because we were full. Nicolino, the owner, is a lovely guy who immediately made us feel at home.
We'll definitely be back for lunch, though, because given the distance, it's easier for us to get there during the day.

A good experience at the masseria, with attentive staff who catered to guests' needs.
Good quality cuisine and welcoming spaces.
Parking is available directly on site, but the only drawback is the poor lighting around the premises and in the parking lot.
Recommended.
