I consider it one of the best pizzerias in Naples. Chef Angelo is a master of taste and loves to experiment. He's pioneering in his use of special doughs, such as whole wheat and gluten-free, baked in a dedicated oven (unparalleled). The pizza with Piennolo cherry tomatoes and the Neapolitan-style cod are noteworthy: the harmony of flavors will send shivers down your spine!

I returned after a few years, and as always, it didn't disappoint. The food is delicious, even for celiacs, like the gluten-free pizza, and the service is very friendly and welcoming, in a comfortable setting. The prices are also very reasonable. It's not close to where I live, otherwise it would be the only restaurant, among those that offer both gluten-free options, where I would always go without fail!

Wonderful ristorante with great atmosphere! My husband and I had the most delicious lunch here; he chose Risotto alla Pescatore and I had Tagliatelle with Carciofi. One of the best meals we have had in Vomero, Napoli (and we have been to Napoli eight times!) - served by a very friendly and professional waiter. I would highly recommend this place, and we will definitely visit again when in Naples next time.

Mascagni is a charming restaurant/pizzeria in Vomero with an '80s vibe, where dietary requirements such as celiac disease and lactose intolerance are taken to heart to satisfy customers' desires. The menu offers a vast selection of appetizers, pizzas, first and second courses, and desserts. I had a delicious and incredibly light croquette and a stellar Margherita pizza! When ordering, I was asked if they also served lactose-free mozzarella, so they could point out that they also have that!
It's also important to know that there's an entire wood-fired oven dedicated to gluten-free pizzas!!! A special mention to the extremely kind and attentive staff, who also pointed out that the gluten-free pizzas are served on plates with the AIC logo because they look so similar to the "normal" ones that they arouse suspicion even in gluten-eaters. Long live Mascagni!
