Mascagni is a charming restaurant/pizzeria in Vomero with an '80s vibe, where dietary requirements such as celiac disease and lactose intolerance are taken to heart to satisfy customers' desires. The menu offers a vast selection of appetizers, pizzas, first and second courses, and desserts. I had a delicious and incredibly light croquette and a stellar Margherita pizza! When ordering, I was asked if they also served lactose-free mozzarella, so they could point out that they also have that!
It's also important to know that there's an entire wood-fired oven dedicated to gluten-free pizzas!!! A special mention to the extremely kind and attentive staff, who also pointed out that the gluten-free pizzas are served on plates with the AIC logo because they look so similar to the "normal" ones that they arouse suspicion even in gluten-eaters. Long live Mascagni!

My friends, one of whom is celiac, and I found this pizzeria with gluten-free options and were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was quiet, unlike other pizzerias in the city center, with friendly and helpful staff. We tried both the fried pizza and the regular pizza, both delicious.
My celiac friend really enjoyed the pizza, especially the light, fluffy, and easily digestible dough.

Our daughter has a severe allergy to all nuts and seeds. Angelo, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure she had safe and delicious food. He baked bread with the house flour and allowed us to try to determine whether it caused a reaction, he then prepared a special pizza just for her making her feel very special. We are hugely appreciative of his care and desire to provide the best experience for her and our family. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly for someone with allergies.Thank you Angelo

Excellent pizzas! I highly recommend the pizza diavola. The pizzeria has two ovens, one of which is dedicated to gluten-free eaters. For lunch, they offer at least three or four different first courses every day at very reasonable prices.

pizza e fritti molto buoni ed avrei dato un giudizio migliore se non fosse per il fatto che i tavoli sono un pò troppi, esageratamente vicini tra loro, inoltre in questa situazione di pienone, la cucina non riesce a stare dietro alle ordinazioni (considerando anche l'asporto) ed i tempi di attesa si allungano. Anche il cameriere , pressato dalla clientela, ci ha sbagliato una pizza e le bevande sono arrivate dopo le pizze e non tutte conteporaneamente. Conto onesto ma non economico.
