I returned after a few years, and as always, it didn't disappoint. The food is delicious, even for celiacs, like the gluten-free pizza, and the service is very friendly and welcoming, in a comfortable setting. The prices are also very reasonable. It's not close to where I live, otherwise it would be the only restaurant, among those that offer both gluten-free options, where I would always go without fail!

A family atmosphere and spirit, unwavering commitment for over 40 years, professionalism, and the selection of high-quality ingredients make this restaurant a gem of Neapolitan dining, where guests and the food are always taken care of. Great attention to food intolerances, and the pizza is among the best in Naples!

Wonderful ristorante with great atmosphere! My husband and I had the most delicious lunch here; he chose Risotto alla Pescatore and I had Tagliatelle with Carciofi. One of the best meals we have had in Vomero, Napoli (and we have been to Napoli eight times!) - served by a very friendly and professional waiter. I would highly recommend this place, and we will definitely visit again when in Naples next time.

Mascagni is a charming restaurant/pizzeria in Vomero with an '80s vibe, where dietary requirements such as celiac disease and lactose intolerance are taken to heart to satisfy customers' desires. The menu offers a vast selection of appetizers, pizzas, first and second courses, and desserts. I had a delicious and incredibly light croquette and a stellar Margherita pizza! When ordering, I was asked if they also served lactose-free mozzarella, so they could point out that they also have that! It's also important to know that there's an entire wood-fired oven dedicated to gluten-free pizzas!!! A special mention to the extremely kind and attentive staff, who also pointed out that the gluten-free pizzas are served on plates with the AIC logo because they look so similar to the "normal" ones that they arouse suspicion even in gluten-eaters. Long live Mascagni!

My friends, one of whom is celiac, and I found this pizzeria with gluten-free options and were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was quiet, unlike other pizzerias in the city center, with friendly and helpful staff. We tried both the fried pizza and the regular pizza, both delicious. My celiac friend really enjoyed the pizza, especially the light, fluffy, and easily digestible dough. Congratulations!

27/10/2025: We visited nerano in October half term so off season really - a lot of places very empty and some staff not so happy to have us in their restaurants but this establishment was incredibly welcoming and tolerant around our lack of knowledge with some dishes and choices. The waitress was so friendly and her English was fantastic - we ate very well with her help and returned on several evenings. Would highly recommend.
07/10/2025: Beautiful setting, located on Nerano beach, friendly staff, and sublime food. Prices? A little high...but you're also paying for the wonderful atmosphere.

10/09/2025: I gave my son his first communion and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. The food was top-quality, prepared with top-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, starting with the dry and delicious fried food. I've never eaten such light and dry zeppelins, not to mention the delicious and crunchy crocche and arancini. Then we started with the seafood and meat appetizers, and everything was delicious. You could taste the freshness of the products prepared by a great chef and his assistant. The first courses had the flavor of the sea before they reached the table. Then, when we tasted them, I didn't want them to end, the flavor was overwhelming and the freshness of the products was so good. Even the lard was very good, as was the meat trio. And not to mention the flavorful and very tasty desserts... We had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who was very friendly, nice, and very knowledgeable. The waiter was very attentive to our needs, thanks to his professionalism and skill, as was the cuisine. I made a great impression on my relatives. I hope to return to spend another day like this as soon as I can. Congratulations!
