Mas dela Fam In Trento

Beautiful setting. We arrived for lunch at 2 p.m., a bit late, but were still allowed in. Phew! We sheltered from the downpour outside in the cozy little dining room. The pasta with ragu and porcini will stay with us forever, as will the crema Catalana. The price-quality ratio has rarely been so good! We'll be back on our next visit to the area—we'd even make a detour for it.

The environment is well-kept, very clean and typical of a farm outside the city but just a stone's throw from the city border; just enough to feel like you're in the countryside with rows of vines surrounding you without being intrusive, the view that sweeps over the city and the mountains that surround it; the welcome and service deserve 5 stars. The food is good, well-kept, filling the plate and the wines are excellent, especially the house red, 2008 harvest. Behind a glass there is a lot of hidden work, of quality and at Mas dela Fam you can find a lot of quality.

Friendly staff and clean environment, average prices; good food, but unfortunately I didn't find the same enthusiasm as other reviews; the pie was good, the dumplings were good but they were dry, there was little butter.

I went to the restaurant for lunch and was very satisfied. The restaurant is very nice and you can enjoy the view of the vineyards. Simple and very elegant furnishings. I ate the rustic vegetable pie in homemade shortcrust pastry on Trentingrana cream and the Tyrolean Spatzle with crunchy speck. They were delicious and the prices were very fair. I hope to be able to return soon.

Location davvero bella, su tre piani, con vista spettacolare. Personale molto professionale, attento e disponibile. Titolare innamorato del suo lavoro e del territorio. Menù prettamente trentino, classico, con qualche tocco di modernità che non guasta e va ad impreziosire le squisitezze del luogo. Abbiamo preso come antipasto tortel di patate con selezione di salumi e formaggi della zona, tortino vegetariano su crema di trentingrana, canederli allo speck con burro spumeggiante e la specialità della casa: Tonco de Pontesel con polenta e verza brasata, che è stato il piatto migliore della cena. 2 calici di vino ed acqua per accompagnare tutto.
