We've been coming to Meran 2-3 times a year for a good 3 years and a fixed item on the program is the Kirchsteiger, always great quality and service at a reasonable price. Today the quality and price were as usual, but where was the service, we waited around an hour for food and no one came by to ask if we would like anything else. Then you lose the fun of espresso or grappa. We even waited forever for the bill. It's a shame, service is also part of the overall picture. We also missed the nice lady who usually welcomed us! And unfortunately the menu on the Internet does not match what you can choose in the restaurant. Miss the grill plate...
