Maruzzella Da Franco In Bacoli

We've been for lunch twice and had a great time, but the third time yesterday, August 14th, we brought friends with us. It was very disappointing. The €35 menu, like other times, included water and wine, various appetizers, two first courses, a second course with a side dish, dessert, or fruit! They brought us fewer appetizers, only one first course, a second course without a side dish or lemon, a fruit cake passed off as ciskei. However, when we went to pay, they mostly charged us for the bottle of wine separately. They had brought two bottles, one for each couple. I don't think if my husband and I had gone alone, they would have given me half a bottle. I'm sorry, but not at all. For the extra €10, but for the lack of seriousness towards customers, and mostly we had lunch in abnormally hot weather without air conditioning.

A restaurant that exudes a sense of home and familiarity. We booked and opted for their fixed seafood menu: appetizer, two first courses, a choice of a second course from the daily specials, fruit, and a dessert and bittersweet dessert. The dishes are flavorful and portions are reasonable. The restaurant is airy with several internal rooms and a splendid terrace with many tables with a beautiful view. The staff is kind and courteous, Mr. Franco and Mr. Tomaso friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable. Recommended.

Excellent service and food, panoramic location and good welcome

Recommended by friends from Pozzuoli, I ate here for lunch. The food was mediocre, the fried shrimp and calamari were delicious, but it's a shame the portions were small. The meatballs were delicious, the seafood pasta was tasty but lacking in sauce, and the seafood salad was bland. The owner and his staff gave me a warm welcome. The atmosphere was very homey, and the view was truly beautiful, with a view of much of Bacoli (I'm from Benevento and was completely unfamiliar with this charming town). I think I'll return if I find myself in the Phlegraean Fields area again.

We had a wonderful meal, generous portions, and fresh, tasty fish. The owner was kind and courteous. An experience to repeat, highly recommended.

Close to the sea, with a spectacular view, obviously appreciated during the day and at sunset; at night, it's charming but difficult to see. You can dine outside or inside, which is air-conditioned and ventilated. The decor is simple yet understated and clean. We were there for a special dinner, and the food was excellent. Simple but quality dishes—fish or meat is no problem—everything was prepared and presented with quality. The wines are also of a decent quality. Recommended. It has reserved parking and is easily accessible. From the Cuma exit of the Naples ring road, pass through Arco Felice and, guided by the directions and Google Maps, you'll find yourself easily.

50th anniversary, 40 people, scorching heat mitigated by air conditioning and fans, quick and friendly table service, excellent and plentiful food, all very fresh fish, and a cake to finish. Friendly and attentive staff, coordinated by Franco, always present. Highly recommended.

I've been a couple of times... positive side of this restaurant is the place with a beautiful view and located in a strategic point of Bacoli and with quiet internal parking, decent quality food and with decent quality fish but home cooking... Menu 35€ defects: with the choice of the fixed menu the dishes are prepared in advance very often cold if you prefer to arrive for lunch around 2 or 2.15 pm ... let's say you are screwed by the cooking prepared in advance and you are served the whole menu but if you are lucky you get the meal lukewarm... fresh internal air with air conditioning and fan... super sunny place... and in summer you are cooked due to the strong heat... place for family... more can be done but it would take a revolution in quality..

Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working and so we had lunch on the terrace, despite the wind it was very hot. We had specifically requested a seat inside the room when booking but upon arrival they informed us that the air conditioning was not working. For the rest the food was average and the quality/price ratio was excellent.

Ci siamo stati per la prima volta domenica a pranzo con la famiglia e siamo rimasti tutti piacevolmente sorpresi. Nonostante ci fosse il pienone, il servizio è stato celere ed impeccabile. Personale gentile e disponibile, cibo ottimo ed abbondante e ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il menù a prezzo fisso della domenica a pranzo, offre una varietà di antipasti sia classici che particolari e comprende un pasto completo, compreso di frutta, dolce, acqua e vino. Ottimo il baccalà in crosta di mandorle e molto gustoso il pacchero ripieno. Abbiamo gradito tutto e portato a casa le portate in eccesso. Ci torneremo sicuramente .
