Marechiaro In Cantù

30/04/2024: We came here with my uncle, who often came here for the lunch menu when he was working, after a trip to the area. The welcome was super positive and the environment has an art nouveau charm that between the windows, the doors and a kind of greenhouse at the entrance is really worth feasting your eyes on. The food is really good, crazy pizzoccheri, excellent and very digestible salmì (which is not always a given!) and I found the pizza very good (the porcini mushrooms on the pizza were sautéed, very good). Very friendly staff. The only flaw is the slot machines on the internal veranda, but this is because I find that ancient wrought iron veranda spectacular and I think it clashes a little with the slots, but otherwise really highly recommended! I think there are also some tables outside in the summer... really nice!

21/04/2024: We enjoyed excellent homemade pizzoccheri and tasty and perfectly cooked porcini risotto. Good value for money, with friendly and attentive waiters. The environment may not be the best, but we are in the center of San Fedele, the heart of the Intelvi valley.
