A pizzeria with a wood-fired oven and kitchen, offering first and second courses in addition to pizza. The thin, crispy pizza is good, although the mozzarella isn't exceptional. We tried the fresh pasta with mussels, clams, and bottarga with cherry tomatoes, which was very good. The prices are reasonable; I'd recommend it for a casual evening. Friendly staff.

Delicious, light pizza. Isola beers are very good. There were two of us, and we had to wait from 9:50 PM to 10:30 PM for our pizzas, but the place was busy on a Sunday evening, so we figured we'd have to wait. It's a shame, though, that the pizzas arrived 5-10 minutes apart.

This year we found Marco's in the new, spacious and bright location. Nothing has changed, however, in the owners' welcoming and courteous service, the punctual service, and above all, the delicious food. Whether it's the traditional pizzas, fish, or meat dishes, the quality is always guaranteed, and it's a pleasure to be their guests. Bravo!

A landmark for our vacation. My family and I had a wonderful dinner in this lovely setting. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. In fact, we returned several evenings for dinner. Compliments to the staff and owners. Michela, very kind.

We stumbled upon this picturesque and characteristic village almost by chance. At Marco's, we ordered two fish starters, which we found fresh and tasty. Prices were average, and the staff were very friendly. We recommend them 😄

La Locanda del Convento

02/09/2025: Super helpful and welcoming staff. Reservations are recommended. Delicious pizza. You'll most likely be sharing a table with strangers, but for me it was pleasant and unexpected. 😊
01/09/2025: A description isn't enough to explain what the Locanda is like; it's literally an experience to be lived! The atmosphere, the magical aroma from the oven, the simple decor of a small business that embraces everything with a big heart, the attentive and friendly service, the historic center surrounding it, where a very long convivial table is set up that can seat at least 20 people, and if you so desire, you can even get to know your neighbor. And then there's Tonio, the owner, who, after finishing the pizzas, comes out to greet his customers with something beautiful and magical to tell! Last but not least, the pizzas, uniquely delicious. Try them and believe them, because some experiences must be lived literally by heart!
