Extremely expensive, and the appetizer plate is poor. Cocktails are okay. Stunning view. Friendly staff, but a bit touchy if you get the wrong waiter. With their prices, they need to do better.

We dined on the terrace twice. We're not locals; I brought my mother, my husband, and his Finnish mother, along with our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the service, from the music to the food. We each ate something to our liking. The staff was also very kind and tolerant of our little girl eating her snacks. I don't think we'll return to Stresa in the future because it was a long trip and an exception for us, but if we ever return, we'll happily dine here again. Thank you. ❤️

Ci siamo fermati per bere qualcosa: ottima scelta di cocktail originali e vini al calice (anche Franciacorta che non si trova spesso). Location che di fatto è una terrazza sul lago vista isole borromee, peccato per la mancanza del bagno (si devono usare quelli pubblici poco più avanti).

28/09/2025: We had a fabulous time!🤩👌. I want to thank all the staff of Lido for making our day memorable🫶🥰👍. This is the kind of place were the owners treats you like an old friend, you could tell they really care about their guests and love what they do 😍💓(we even snapped a few pics 📸😉). The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The Chef came out to our table and made excellent recommendations! 👨‍🍳👌That made our Lunch extra special. We enjoyed our delicious freshly made food and the presentation was superb.🍽🍷🎉 Great atmosphere and the stunning views of Lake Maggiore is amazing. 🎷🎼🎷🏞🛶🏝 I highly recommend this place is a true gem 🎖🎊💯💎💎💎

Ristorante dell'Hotel Romagna

19/09/2025: A somewhat dated hotel with very good service. Everything was nice and clean. Our room (54) had a spectacular view of the Borromean Islands. Sunrise.
05/09/2025: We stayed at this truly beautiful hotel for five nights in August. The room was right on the lake, and the view was priceless! The hotel is family-run, and it shows! If you're looking for a quiet hotel with lots of love, a romantic balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore and the two islands of Isola Bella and Isola Madre, you absolutely have to book a room here!
