Marchesa La Pizzeria In Candelo

This time no pizza but let's move on to the second courses: Ribs Marchesa with potatoes, absolutely not pleasant, greasy and not very edible. It's a shame. It's always a shame to write a negative review, but this evening's experience was decidedly disappointing. Maybe we were just unlucky?? We had previously gotten on well.

Some friends accompanied us to discover this pizzeria. Happy discovery. A very good cacio e pepe. The chef is passionate about cooking, his dishes say it. A special mention for the ribs.

Absolutely crazy affordable food. Wide choice of wines and beers for any palate. Impeccable service with young guys who are never intrusive, always attentive to the customer's needs and with a smile that would be the envy of anyone. Also competent in assisting the customer in choosing the wine to pair with the order. I tasted the gourmet pizza and the fried calamari. The pizza dough was perfect (never eaten anything like it in my life), the frying was plentiful and exceptionally crunchy with incredible breading. There's only one thing to say COME AND ENJOY A PERFECT DINNER

Good pizza, thin with thick crust. We ate outside in Piazza del Ricetto, the atmosphere was very nice, shame about the cashier being a little too close to us. However, it was a nice evening, the service was good, the cover charge was perhaps a little expensive: €2.50.

I always go there and over the years I have recommended it to dozens of people, but in a short time a lot has changed... Even the waiters are forced to ask you to put your chair against the table, in order to go through the service... And first the pizza was unbeatable, good indeed very good, rich indeed very rich, while for some time the toppings are less than a third of what they used to be, once upon a time we thought about the customer, making him satisfied, now we probably think more about profit, money gives to the head quickly.. It's probably time to start looking elsewhere, even if with regret.. Let's hope things improve before many people notice it.. even if Italians aren't like Lynxes.. and this is the luck of many opportunists.. and the reason why we are in such bad shape in Italy.. But when a (negative) cycle begins, stopping it is not always easy.. the country is small and people murmur... it's not a coincidence that the table next to us said more or less the same things when talking to each other.. I didn't think about taking photographs of the pizzas and honestly they would have been very different from those I see in other reviews.. a coincidence.. ? a bad evening..? let's hope.. both for us and that for them....

A nice place, clean and comfortable. The food is good, compliments to the chefs! The service is also quick and the staff are kind and attentive. Well done! I will be back very soon!

Ottima location, buon cibo. Il locale offre una vasta gamma di piatti e pizze, noi abbiamo cenato con una buona pizza. Consigliato.

After hearing a lot about this restaurant I decided to organize dinner here with my work colleagues. When we arrived they made us sit, we had decided to stay outside as with the arrival of the good weather it becomes pleasant; the tables are set up in the square in front of the Candelo shelter. We ordered pizza, one more particular than the other! Light and easily digestible dough. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Erica who followed us through the ordering and the service. Welcoming, well-lit place, furnished in an original way, in the square in Candelo and with young staff. Advised!

Inizialmente ero un po prevenuta a causa dell'impatto con il locale che internamente è un po piccolino.... Poi siamo stati accolti da personale preparato e accomodante. Pizza con calamari davvero buona e per nulla indigesta. Anche il dolce, una panna cotta al the verde con frutti di bosco, davvero ottima. Ci tornerò sicuramente!!
