10/05/2026: Lights and shadows
A lovely place I've known for years, dating back to the 20th century, now Fabbrica Libera.
Countless taps, a place with an English pub atmosphere that's hard to find these days, and I like it.
The place is large, so it gets quite noisy as it fills up.
The variety of food is truly extensive, from pizzas with various types of dough and toppings, to meats, to burgers, to more traditional cuisine. I found the quality of the food good.
Above all, however, the service was noticeably slow. Really, very, very slow. My rib-eye steak actually arrived before my wife's pizza. Two pizza chefs for a room that size, and the takeout volume, are a bit small. And even in the room, there weren't many waiters. So, good food, nice atmosphere, good beers, but something needs to be tweaked in the preparation of the dishes and the service. We even had to wait at the cashier because the clerk had to leave for other dining room duties.
And to think we arrived early, to an empty dining room and it was just filling up.
19/04/2026: A large beer hall spread across several rooms, absent from what I saw of sofas and other alcoves. It probably gets really chaotic when full. I think the front room could open in the summer to better enjoy the season. There's a foosball table.
The menu is very varied: pizzas, sandwiches, meats, dishes, etc. The prices aren't cheap, and there's also a cover charge, which is perhaps a bit too much at that point.
The parking lot is quite large and well-lit, and they stay open late.
I haven't seen a calendar of evenings or events, just advertisements for their organization.
