28/01/2025: Sancho's pizza has always been the reference for lovers of pizza by the slice, it has set and still sets a precedent. Quality ingredients artfully worked on a crispy and light dough. For me, the iconic pizzas are the one with porchetta and potatoes, with the breaded slice, the way they used to make it when you took it to the seaside in a sandwich. Then there is the one with chicken salad and the white one with mortadella. In short, no God, take it easy.
22/01/2025: We didn't go to the Fiumicino branch but the one near the center so to speak. At the entrance they practically forced us to take the pizzas they said they wanted: in a positive sense obviously, they offered us the best pizzas, which we gladly accepted. The friendliness was there, and also the quality of the products. We took their flagship, white porchetta in potato crust, white with escarole, white with roulade and white with schnitzel (breaded slice otherwise they might get angry) and mayonnaise, and a couple of suppli (prawns and classic).
Let me start by saying that we ate the pizzas, unfortunately and through no fault of our own, cold: we had to wait a long time to eat them and we couldn't heat them up, but this is obviously completely our fault. Despite this, the pizza was excellent: especially the one with the breaded slice, and with a perfectly made mayonnaise it turned out to be very good, not to mention the others. Perhaps the one I liked a little less is with the roulade, but it could very well be personal taste. However, we ate the suppli hot, and they were good suppli. The only "defect", which I feel like pointing out, was the quantity of oil. A little less would have been perfect, as when opening the carton it was full of oil (I would add that I am a person who doesn't disdain greasy food, on the contrary). But it's actually a matter of finding nitpicks, truly excellent pizza (you don't need to advertise yourself with poor characters, who risk bringing you the wrong clientele, to the wise...). Highly recommended anyway
