The place works well but, as others have noted, the service is not up to the level of the number of customers who arrive and they have to hope that the counter notices them.

Super environment and variety for tasting and snacks. The staff are a little unfriendly, but still friendly.

The food was really very good the only thing was that the cappuccinos arrived first at the table next to us which arrived about 10 minutes later

cowardly waiter who, instead of looking after us customers (we had been in the restaurant for several minutes), stopped to flirt repeatedly with the girls at the table next to us. there were three of us and we were given two chips to eat; It's a shame because the environment is very nice, but everything else left something to be desired. sincereee

Nice place consisting of a bar counter also equipped with a pastry display serving two well-kept rooms. Nice coming and going of people. Fast and professional staff.

Bar Mania located in the historic center of Codogno I changed my previous review today 10/11/022 I met with friends for an aperitif, we were sitting outside, no one came to ask for a drink one of us got up and went to order, after a few minutes the girl arrived with a plate with 6 pieces of inedible cold pizza, 2 slices of bread with salami, chips, 3 glasses of prosecco (maybe), it doesn't deserve enough, lately I've been When I returned, the coffee is one of the best, the barley coffee from Codogno is excellent, and the pastries, jam-filled biscuits and croissants are excellent. It has become my favorite place! Congratulations to all the staff!

Mi sono recato nel centro storico di Codogno per visitare palazzo Trivulzio durante la manifestazione "Le stanze di Natale" e visto il numero di visitatori non trascurabile che affollava una cittadina così piccola, non era facile trovare un posto per pranzare. Siamo quindi capitati al bar/pasticceria Mania, che per l'occasione aveva predisposto un menù abbastanza interessante e che, grazie agli spazi ampi, è riuscito ad accoglierci nonostante l'afflusso di clienti notevole. La qualità dei piatti proposti, considerata la tipologia di locale ed i prezzi, è più che discreta. Sia la vellutata di zucca con mazzancolle che la classica tagliata di manzo che ho ordinato non erano affatto male. Le porzioni non sono enormi, ma direi corrette. Onestamente non definirei generosa la quantità di vino servito a calice. Il servizio, nonostante l'impegno profuso, è stato purtroppo molto frettoloso e un po' approssimativo poichè -dovendo servire un elevato numero di coperti e contemporaneamente la clientela al banco- il personale risultava in evidente difficoltà. Nel nostro caso non è stato servito il pane (poi vi hanno posto rimedio su richiesta) e sono stati completamente dimenticati i condimenti per la carne. La varietà dei dolci, come ci si aspetta in una pasticceria, è piuttosto ampia, anche se i pasticcini ed i macaron che ho provato non mi hanno particolarmente entusiasmato: un po' troppo zuccherini per il mio gusto personale e senza nessuna nota di sapore veramente indimenticabile o giochi di consistenza interessanti. La mia esperienza al Mania la definirei pertanto "nella media", non ho affatto mangiato male, ma se dovessi trovarmi nuovamente in zona penso che proverei un locale differente.

We waited a while and no one came to ask for our order. I had to ask... there isn't a list of spritzes and the lady who came to the table mentioned some of them, saying that perhaps there weren't some ingredients... a bit more organization wouldn't hurt.
