Mammamì Neapolitan Take Away In Napoli

Fantastic service with the biggest warm smile!! Don't let me start about the food, because from the first to the last course, it was delicious. My personal favorite was the octopus in the Napoletan way - I'd recommend to try it😁😁 11/10

Fantastic service, generous and delicious first courses (spaghetti with clams was a bit greasy), delicious Genoese and Sicilian pasta. The parmigiana and mozzarella appetizers were also delicious.

Tucked away on a charming Neapolitan street, this restaurant delivers dishes with the finesse of a Michelin-star kitchen and the warmth of a family home. It felt like dining in the house of a beloved Italian cousin who happens to be an exceptional cook. From crisp meatballs and creamy mozzarella to beautifully prepared pasta and perfectly cooked meat and seafood, every plate honoured tradition and simple, outstanding ingredients. As a group of eight, we shared, tasted and enjoyed every bite — and left completely satisfied. An unforgettable Neapolitan experience built on flavour, generosity and genuine hospitality.

Nice place, friendly service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't to our liking. The menu included side dishes we didn't get (carrots, celery, etc.). The carbonara had a hard-boiled egg, like scrambled eggs. The pulled beef was dripping with grease. The canned pasta and beans were completely tasteless, looking like pudding. The salad was just leaves, without any olives or dressing. Maybe I got the wrong one :/ The staff was busy decorating the place.

Stopped by for late lunch, was treated to fresh buffalo mozzarella balls, had tuna and mozzarella salad and pasta with mozzarella, simple flavorful food! Sat outside, excellent service, we were able to stay and finish our drinks after they had to close and pick up kids.

My husband and I went there for dinner and returned the next day for lunch. For dinner, I had meatballs with tomato sauce, which were excellent (I love meatballs), as were the vegetable sides (eggplant and zucchini). The next day for lunch, I was curious to try some other typical dishes, so I ordered a classic: pasta, potatoes, and provola cheese. Simply wonderful... I'd already ordered it elsewhere, but this was on a whole new level. The lunch side dishes, friarelli and peppers, were also very good. My husband ordered another Neapolitan classic, pasta alla genovese. This was also excellent. We were so pleased with what we ate that we ordered two cuzzetielli, one with meatballs and friarelli and the other with parmigiana and genovese. We ate them on the ship, so they were already cold, but we didn't regret bringing them with us! A special mention goes to the service, always punctual and dedicated to providing guests with the best experience of Neapolitan hospitality. My husband, a beer enthusiast, also enjoyed sampling some local craft beers. The only disappointment: the regret of not having discovered Mammamì sooner!
