07/10/2025: Average value for money: good food, but rather small portions and decidedly high prices. The atmosphere is refined and the service is standard.
25/09/2025: One of the three types of pizza, the so-called cloud pizza, is the main reason to visit Fermento. It's not the only reason, as there are also very interesting initiatives throughout the day, as well as other lunch and dinner options with delicious, quality cuisines that go beyond pizza.
We've known about Fermento's cloud pizza since it was first made at the previous location on Via San Domenico, and we have fond memories of it.
After perhaps a dip in quality, even though we don't eat pizza very often, it must be said that the quality has improved, making the experience even more enjoyable than before. This is a high-end pizza, to which cloud pizza belongs, undoubtedly the most gourmet of the three main types.
The owners are friendly and helpful, the service is attentive, and the selection is excellent, offering both foreign and a fairly wide selection of local beers.
The focus is also on local cuisine, not only in the pizzas but also in the other options available, from drinks to the dishes available on the lunch menu (a recent initiative).
Clean space, the space extends parallel to the kitchens and the main road. Quiet location, parking isn't too hard to find. The space remains somewhat cramped when the outdoor veranda isn't used in the summer, a distinctive feature shared by the Via San Domenico location. Perhaps a different layout or other arrangements could offer a better sense of space and sound, which are important for fully enjoying the convivial experience of a meal...
Fermento and the people who work there represent a point of reference and an example to follow in this part of Italy where investment and attention are lacking from too many important stakeholders who should instead care about the South, and in particular the almost forgotten province of Frosinone.
Thank you
