15/09/2025: The atmosphere is very refined and the host is very friendly.
The first courses are among the best I've ever tasted, but the portions are a bit small.
The wait was a bit long, but in the end it was worth it, and the host explained that he was alone that evening.
I personally can't comment on the price, as we ate with a 50% discount on the fork; otherwise, the prices would have been a bit higher than average (carbonara €15).
Overall, I'll definitely be back.
05/09/2025: For lunch, there's a fixed menu for €5, including a pasta dish of the day, water, wine, and moka pot. No variations—whatever you order is what you eat. This, combined with the super homey atmosphere, makes you feel like you're in the dining room of a Roman home. Not gourmet, but real, good cuisine. You leave feeling full and satisfied, eating well in a beautiful setting and spending very little. Truly, nothing to complain about. Since I discovered it, it's been a regular stop every time I come to Rome. If I could just criticize the staff, they're not particularly warm, but that's just to nitpick.
