Very nice gelato but it is expensive. I mean wanted gelato so expect it to be more expensive

My favorite gelato place in NYC! I'm a regular here and highly suggest their Cookie Man flavor and Sunflower Cream flavor for a nutty, rich, not too sweet combo 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Their chocolate is also yummy! Also there is always a line but I promise, it moves quick and staff are friendly and patient every time! They let you sample and they usually have free wafers they put on top. Also great portion for the price!

I am giving this 5 stars, but I cannot come here anymore. While I love their gelato, the management of flavors and pricing is too chaotic. When there is a long line, there is just no way to see the flavors or prices until you actually get up close to the flavors. So there is a bottleneck. Once it’s your turn to get served, many people ask for multiple samples, which slows down the line. Could someone possibly put a chalkboard listing the flavors outside and offer samples while people are standing in line? After scoops are given, the servers take the time to clean the gelato bins, which I appreciate. After paying for the gelato, the seating area has become a bit of a disco/club vibe, with very loud music and people hanging out in large groups for extended periods of time. I’m sure this disco/club vibe is great at night, but during the day with my family, it is a bit of sensory overload. So while I do love the gelato, I wish they did a better job with communicating the flavors of the day, the pricing, and managing that long long line.

One of the best gelato spots in the city

We had an awesome experience at "Anita La Mamma del Gelato" today! The gelato was yummy, flavors we have chosen were pistachio with kadaif, and dark chocolate. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. The vibe of the shop was cozy . Decorated wisely.

Wow! Firstly got to say, the staff were extremely polite and very helpful. Focused only on us, even though it took us a good 5 minutes to taste test and choose our flavours!! The gelato was amazing and we were spoilt for choice. Loved It!! Five Stars!
