Perhaps the best meat-only cuisine in the province, different cuts always perfectly cooked. Excellent choice of craft beers, friendly and competent staff. February 2022 update...now a large fridge makes a nice presence, containing cuts of excellent meat that are left to mature while waiting to be consumed. Highly recommended

Dopo una giornata alle terme abbiamo cercato qualche posto carino dove mangiare per cena; poca scelta a distanza di chilometri con il desiderio di mangiare carne abbiamo scelto questo ristorante nel centro di Cabras. Ingresso tipo trattoria rustica ed interno sicuramente più curato stile rustico, con ampia sala e tavoli già apparecchiati. Pochi clienti visto anche il periodo di metà ottobre, scegliamo l’antipasto di salumi e formaggi e 4 secondi diversi con contorni vari ( patate al forno erano finite). Piatti molto abbondanti della carne, patate fritte niente di che, molto gommose e secche. Bella scelta dei vini, panna cotta al pistacchio molto delicata, purtroppo acqua in bottiglia filtrata troppo pesante da un gusto forte nonostante fosse naturale; ci sono sicuramente acque filtrate più buone. Nel complesso siamo stati molto bene, servizio veloce ed attento anche se con poca gente e’ facile.

Ho mangiato discretamente mi chiedo perché con una buona proposta di carni non ci sia scelta con vini nazionali , proponendomi vini rossi locali di bassa qualità ! buona la proposta delle birre carne buona , servizio da migliorare. Se entro dentro significa che ho bisogno di stare al fresco invece lasciano per tutta la durata della cena la porta aperta facendo accomodare moscerini e zanzare …..
