I can't judge the quality of the cheeses because I hate cheese, any kind. The potato tortel was very good, but the speck was especially excellent, with a distinct smokiness. I'd say it's the best speck I've ever tasted in the area. Simple but authentic cuisine, which is what matters.

What you expect from a mountain hut! Simple but authentic food, friendly service, and reasonable prices! We'll be back! PS: There's a small shop inside the building selling products from the mountain hut and other local producers. Highly recommended!

Don't expect a restaurant or set tables: this is a temple to aperitivo and fine drinks, an old-fashioned osteria that retains its old-world charm. The atmosphere here is simply magnetic. It's the classic warm and welcoming place where people gather for a glass of wine after work, where conversation flows easily and you immediately feel part of a community.

07/06/2026: I've been getting ice cream here for years and it's always top notch, great prices, top staff, everything perfect!!
04/06/2026: Self-service: you grab a cup and add whatever you want, then weigh and pay at the checkout. It's good, the ice cream tastes fresh, and the fruit ones have a hint of real fruit.
