Typical mountain hut. Five tables. A couple more in the winter garden. We ordered two dishes. Soup with dumplings and goulash with dumplings. It took them a little longer. After adding salt, the dishes were delicious. It's not a Wuw establishment, but it will satisfy your stomach. The environment is clean, the toilets are outside. The service is nice.

we found this restaurant on the way to Sassolungo. soup recommended by the staff was the yummiest thing I had on my North Italy trip.(have to admit most north Italian food is just emmmm) having that soup on a cold day was pure bliss.

Best hut on the Langkoffel/Sella. The food is simply unbeatable and so is the staff. 👍👍👍👍👍 If there were 10 stars I would give them!

Superlative setting, immersed in the Dolomites. We stopped for a slice of cake while admiring the Sassolungo. They make their own milk and yogurt.
The desserts are traditional and plentiful, at moderate prices—actually, quite reasonable considering the mountain hut's location.

A true mountain hut
Small, very welcoming and clean environment, attentive and very kind owners
Excellent food with their own products (homemade speck and cheese, excellent)
For those who want to have lunch like in the old days (not at a restaurant), that's my opinion, a lover of these simple, authentic mountain huts.
Also because lately, mountain huts have become like being at a Michelin-starred restaurant, which is something I don't like.
Anyway, I highly recommend it for those who love this type of place and cuisine.
I was there for lunch at the end of September 2025.
