Malga Salanzada In Cavalese

Rustic mountain hut, good food, typical, cute atmosphere, donkeys😘 sheep😀, immersed in mountain nature... a paradise.

Whenever I happen to be in the area, a trip to Salanzada is always a pleasure. First of all, the location is wonderful, the view spectacular, and it's wonderful to be able to stop and see the animals living on the farm. The restaurant has never disappointed me. Over the years, I've tried the desserts the mountain hut offers for afternoon snacks several times (all excellent); in my opinion, that's the best time of day to visit Salanzada. For lunch and dinner, I've usually opted for polenta accompanied by mushrooms and/or cheese, a dish I always find delicious (you can't say you've been to Val di Fiemme without eating some polenta with mushrooms, come on). The service, in my experience, has always been prompt and accurate. Every now and then, during less busy times, I even manage to chat with the lady who runs the establishment, who is always very friendly and cheerful.

I returned to this mountain hut for the second time and was once again satisfied. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly, making it feel almost like home. The food was very good and the prices were more than fair. I will definitely be back.

A very welcoming family-run agriturismo. Mrs. Renata is attentive and great company. The dishes are excellent and plentiful, especially the gluten-free and vegetarian dumplings: truly delicious! The outdoor area is very large, with animals and children's games. Highly recommended.

Beautiful farm with a herd of cows and a paddock with sheep, donkeys, pigs, and chickens. The food is very good and authentic. In the afternoon, after 4:00 PM, there's a delicious snack with strauben.

Volevano far vedere degli animali a nostra figlia allora su consiglio dell'hotel dove eravamo in vacanza a Predazzo ci siamo recati in questa malga. Ci hanno fatti accomodare nella veranda e nonostante il caldo si sta benissimo. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di salumi e formaggi locali versione piccola ma su mangia in due. Ravioli alle ortiche ottimi e gnocchi al puzzone di moena buoni davvero. Come dolce gelato con frutti rossi e sbrisolona con gocce di cioccolato e ricotta. Prezzi onesti e piatti abbondanti. Ci soni anche degli scivoli e altalene che ci hanno permesso a noi adulti di mangiare con calma. Dopo pranzo giretto a vedere gli animali. Lo consiglio per le famiglie.

Siamo stati per la prima volta, su suggerimento di amici. Locale carino ed accogliente con tavoli all’interno, in veranda ed all’esterno. I due piatti che abbiamo mangiato erano buoni e ben fatti (forse lievemente salati, ma questo è gusto personale). Servizio attento e cordiale. Prezzi nella media. Torneremo per provare altri piatti che da menù ci attiravamo parecchio
