01/02/2025: The place describes itself...
The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, in perfect harmony with the holiday atmosphere that can be felt in the restaurant and in the surrounding area.
Also very attentive to dietary needs, in our case, for celiac disease.
The dishes are simply sublime, starting from the baskets of bread and butter.
The view, breathtaking...
01/02/2025: A culinary experience beyond compare at 2275m height
Perched high above the Puster Valley, AlpiNN is more than just a restaurant - it’s a place where the beauty of the Dolomites meets an extraordinary dining experience. The moment you step inside, the breathtaking panoramic views draw you in, creating a sense of serenity and connection to nature. The modern yet cozy design, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and natural materials, makes you feel like you’re floating above the mountains. And designed with natural materials, it blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, making you feel both grounded and elevated at the same time.
But what truly sets AlpiNN apart isn’t just the setting or the food- it’s also the people. From the very start, Valeria from the service team made us feel incredibly welcome. Her professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of of both the menu and wine selection plus non alcoholic pairing made our 5-course lunch experience even more enjoyable. Attentive yet never intrusive, she struck the perfect balance, ensuring that we felt both taken care of and completely at ease. It’s rare to find such a high level of service, and we deeply appreciated it.
Then came the absolute highlight of our day when Norbert Niederkofler himself stopped by, took the time to personally introduce himself and even sat down at our table for a chat. We were very grateful having the opportunity to meet the mastermind behind Cook the Mountain in such an intimate setting - he is such a personalty. His passion for sustainability, respect for local ingredients, and dedication to his craft were truly inspiring.
Of course, the food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish told a story of the region, crafted with seasonal ingredients that reflected the beauty of the mountains around us. From delicate Spaghettone Quadro to a perfectly balanced tartare, each bite was a testament to the philosophy of sustainable fine dining.
AlpiNN isn’t just a restaurant - it’s an experience that lingers long after the last bite. If you ever find yourself in the Dolomites, do yourself a favor and make sure to visit. It’s a place where culinary excellence meets heartfelt hospitality, and we can’t wait to return.
