Interesting location 3km from the Lavaze Pass with mountain views. We ordered a half portion of pasta with tomato sauce, a mountain platter, and a trio of dumplings plus side dishes for about €50 total. The mountain platter of polenta, sausage, mushrooms, and melted cheese was very good, and the trio of dumplings were decent. Excellent, friendly, and very fast service.

I'm sorry but I have to criticize the food I ate, the worst Gröstl I've ever eaten, frozen potatoes from the supermarket, very salty eggs and speck that looked like English bacon, strudel full of industrial aromas, really disappointed by the food served

I arrived by chance during a thunderstorm and took refuge there for lunch. First of all, I'd like to highlight the kindness and courtesy of the staff and owners, who were truly lovely. The dishes are very generous and quite good. I didn't like the excessive use of cream in the tagliatelle with mushrooms, and the dish was brought to the table already with cheese and a knob of butter, which perhaps went well with the mushrooms but not with the venison ragù. The dessert was decent. Average value for money.

A very characteristic mountain hut, with plenty of seating outside and inside (a bit noisy). Friendly and fast service. We ordered nettle gnocchi, goulash soup, polenta with ragù and chanterelles, venison ravioli, and the famous Kaiserschmarren. Everything was delicious!

Malga Ora is a certainty, while observing the Dolomites you can eat truly genuine home-made food, everything is truly excellent, in the end I was very happy

05/09/2025: A restaurant and pizzeria with a very extensive menu! I had a wonderful meal, the staff were friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the prices were reasonable! The outdoor terrace was also lovely! I don't know of any other places in Canazei, but if I were to return, I'd definitely know where to eat!

02/09/2025: We hadn't been back for years, and the host welcomed us so warmly. He recognized us despite the years that had passed and made us feel right at home. Every detail was meticulously thought out, even the dog menu, which was excellent. As soon as we sat down, they immediately asked if we wanted water and a Dental Stix for our dog, a treat we greatly appreciated. We had the pleasure of speaking with the host, who was very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Thanks to the restaurant and the attentive staff, we enjoyed a delicious lunch that has become a wonderful memory. Thank you so much.
27/08/2025: The owner is very friendly and explains the dishes very well! Typical local products! Best in Val di Non!
