From Falzeben we walked on frozen snow in the middle of the woods until we arrived at this beautiful mountain hut...excellent lunch and very friendly owners...beautiful panoramic view

A highlight of this vacation. With a lot of love and passion, the process of making dumplings was introduced to you. And later eat together. The climb is worth it.

Wir waren nicht das erste Mal bei Elisabeth. Hier fűhlt man sich wohl, man wird herzlich begrüßt. Es gibt leckeres selbstgemachtes Essen und Kuchen. Portionen sind groß, Preise dafür gűnstig. Das wichtigste : hier wird man als Freund gesehen, dem man gerne was Gutes tun will. Nicht wie bei vielen Anderen Hűtten wo nur der Kommerz zählt und man nur abgefertigt wird. Schöne Hűtte mit Schwarm an einem schönen Ort. Unbedingt besuchen.

We have been spending our summer holidays in the Merano area for over 20 years and every holiday includes at least one visit to the Moschwald-Alm. Reason for this: A really well-kept and beautifully located alpine hut with a wonderful view. Super nice service and the boss cooks herself. You can tell that in the food too. Every dish and the cakes (sweets) are distinctive and excellent - simply delicious. We also visit other huts, but this one is our absolute favorite every time. PS: Don't tell anyone, we want to get a free place next year too ;-)

This beautiful mountain hut maintains its authenticity which is being lost in other mountain huts. Yes he eats well and the cakes are really good. It is managed by a family who takes care of various animals including cows, goats, chickens.
