Stopped at this rustic alpine inn on the way down from Merano 2000. Super friendly service --> got a glimpse into apple strudel production :-) - and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We come regularly and absolutely love visiting Elisabeth and her wonderful team. My husband swears by the shepherd's macaroni, and I, in turn, by the delicious cake. Last year, I even had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with over 40 guests at Elisabeth's – everything was perfect from start to finish. A special highlight for me is the fresh buttermilk, which I like to take home in a bottle. Thank you for your warm hospitality – we're already looking forward to the next time!

A very beautiful alpine pasture with lovingly prepared homemade food! It was delicious and very reasonably priced. A truly wonderful place to stop for refreshment. A must on the hike!

Hotel Restaurant Schlossberg

19/10/2025: We stayed here for a motorcycle ride over the weekend. I have to say, it's a SUPER nice inn. The very friendly owner gave us a warm welcome and was super helpful throughout the weekend, whether it was during check-in, during the meal, or if we simply had a question. The food is highly recommended, and it's a great base for motorcycle riding. You'll definitely see me here again!
11/10/2025: A lovely inn with direct access to the road with a hairpin bend. Lots of motorcyclists. A very friendly and helpful waiter, the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. You're rewarded with a beautiful view of the valley. Definitely worth a stop.
