Great Alm, friendly service, delicious food. Very hospitable, lots of seating inside and outside, great dessert.

The Hochrautalm in Rasun is an absolute jewel in the South Tyrolean Alps. The hike there leads through beautiful nature, past green meadows and forests - ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view that will take your breath away. The Alm itself offers an authentic, cozy atmosphere that immediately invites you to linger. The regional cuisine is a particular highlight: fresh, homemade dishes that are prepared with a lot of love. The Kaiserschmarrn and dumplings are a must! The hosts are incredibly friendly and make you feel completely comfortable. If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy and experience nature, you will love the Hochrautalm. Absolutely recommended for hikers and connoisseurs alike!

Great breakfast with homemade bread, homemade jams, croissants. Important: only with reservation! Also great for lunch. Highly recommended! Homemade products and dishes are also available here!

Die geführte Wanderung hat uns diesesmal auf die Hochrautalm geführt, die wir das letzte Mal 2017 besucht hatten. Damals bei Regen und Nebel haben wir innen gesessen - diesesmal war es möglich, bei gutem Wetter auch draußen zu bleiben. So hat unsere Gruppe außen etliche Plätze eingenommen. Da kam wohl die ganze Bandbreite der Speisekarte zur Anwendung. Der berühmte "Hüttenburger" wurde ebenso bestellt, wie Kaiserschmarn oder auch die Pressknödel mit Kraut. Ein Schnäpschen hinterher - alles prima. Der Gruppe hat es allgemein dort sehr gut gefallen, was auch sicherlich an der netten Bedienung gelegen hat - gerne wieder.

Very high level hut but with prices in line. I honestly don't know if they take reservations but I would recommend arriving early. Kind staff and care in everything, with traditional but refined dishes

Very tasty seasonal food, for us the herb dumplings and the plum pancake were particularly excellent, cozy atmosphere. Very busy on Sunday lunchtimes

Luogo incantato dopo una passeggiata di 75 min non troppo impegnativa. Locale stupendo, curato ed accogliente, personale gentilissimo e prezzi giusti! Provato il panino alm, ottimo, gli gnocchetti di ragù vegetale e al burro, stupefacenti, kaiserschmarren e tortino al cioccolato tra i più buoni mangiati. Tutto fatto in casa con prodotti locale! Continuate così e non cambiate
