A true insider tip in a beautiful location. The food was not only delicious but also arrived surprisingly quickly – perfect for a stop after a hike. The super friendly service is particularly noteworthy: attentive, warm, and with a smile. You immediately feel welcome. We'd love to come back!

We were there at the beginning of October, and I have nothing but good things to say. The food was delicious, we received good service, and the hut's location on the way to the Großer and Kleiner Kornigl is convenient. The prices are very fair! If I remember correctly, €3.50 for a half-liter of beer, which you hardly get anywhere else these days. There's also a swing and goats, which the kids loved.

Positive experience. From the provincial road/parking lot, it's a little over 10 minutes' walk (at a normal pace for an adult and without children :-) ). The road is steep at first, but then flattens out. The food is typical of mountain huts. The prices are a little high, but the portions are quite filling.

23/11/2025: Excellent restaurant and beyond, with fast and very friendly service, generous and high-quality dishes, all at moderate prices, which are excellent considering the quality. I tried a trio of butter dumplings, which were truly delicious. They also have a small parking lot next to the restaurant. In my opinion, it's a great place to stop and have a bite to eat. Recommended!
25/10/2025: The pizza was good, the staff friendly, the room was quite cool and there is an electric charging station in front of the restaurant

06/01/2025: Location da sogno .. e anche una polenta da sogno. I prezzi alti come in tutti i rifugi ma ne vale davvero la pena. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
03/01/2025: Locale spettacolare ,siamo stati benissimo cibo ottimo e servizio impeccabile . Eravamo in 16 ci hanno servito molto bene nonostante il locale fosse affollato . Ne vale la pena Torneremo
