Magna Roma Trattoria In Catania

Excellent food. It's a shame that in the middle of July in Sicily, they don't turn on the air conditioning. We will return in autumn with milder temperatures...

Nice little place and friendly staff. The carbonara was good but I will return to try other Roman dishes.

Magna Roma is a modern location illuminated by large windows where it is possible to have lunch or dinner outside thanks also to external tables. The mise en place is almost perfect, the table service is fast but the young staff needs to acquire a little more professionalism and experience, the "too much" presence at the tables was slightly pressing during lunch. The paper menu is missing some sheets (many menus had missing sheets, to avoid this inconvenience you should use the QR now widespread everywhere)! Order waiting times are non-existent. The costs are adequate. I recommend "Magna Roma" for the quality of the dishes offered, for the presentation with attention to detail, for the revisiting of some recipes, for the excellent quality of the raw materials used and for the impeccable cooking (the pasta is perfect, very fiery )!

Very nice restaurant located in the center, atmosphere reminiscent of Rome and very clean. The dishes come out quickly and are really good. You can find everything from meat to fish and vegetables. Impeccable and fantastic cuisine! Excellent products and balanced quality/price ratio. I recommend it because they cook like God ❤️

The plates are really too plentiful, which means that we were not able to finish our dish because we were recommended antipasti to "enough for our hunger"...we shouldn't have, even if it was very good. The setting is intimate.

So, first time in Magna Roma, absolutely in love; food as if it were homemade with a pinch of elegant and particular detail, the best carbonara and tiramisu I have ever eaten, very friendly waiters upstairs, super helpful and nice, really happy with this lunch and having the restaurant close to home like this to be able to make a permanent stop, I recommend! The only flaw, you need air conditioning at least for the upstairs but you can easily pass over it 😃

I don't know if booking is mandatory but it's definitely worth making because it's always very crowded... I only tasted an appetizer and 2 first courses and I can say that the dishes are plentiful and very well seasoned. The pinsas look spectacular, we will be back to try them. The only flaw, which could be an advantage, is the speed in serving... you can't breathe and, considering the dishes are quite elaborate, perhaps a slightly longer pause between one dish and another wouldn't be bad
