I've been to this place many times and have always had a great experience. It's almost become a tradition to come here every one or two months. The food was incredibly delicious. The owner was truly kind, as was all the staff. I'll definitely be back.

Everything was good, if a little pricey. The only shame is that the place, being small, creates a reverberating effect that makes even a small noise seem like a din. You might leave with a headache afterward. Other than that, I'd say it was fine.

Good experience, tasty food, and efficient service. The only drawback is the proximity of the tables on the lower level and the closure of the upper level.

Just returned after having tasted so many great Roman dishes. I'll start by saying that I have a Roman son-in-law and that I've tasted, first hand, in historic trattorias in Rome and here at Magna Roma, there's nothing to complain about. I found the appetizers excellent, a little greasy, but very good... the cacio è pepe... the amatriciana were fantastic, not to mention the tasty tart with sour cherries, in short, a real surprise in Catania... I thank the chef, the staff... and if I may, the only shame is... the space, too small... just this to be reviewed... thanks, see you next time.

I'm still sitting at the table and I don't want to leave!
The Roman-style artichokes melted in your mouth, served with an amazing pecorino cream and stewed to perfection. And can we even talk about the mouth-watering taste? The Colosseum would have melted in them, fantastic!
Excellent service and excellent food.
A discovery worth discovering again and again. Bravo!

A very simple two-story location, poorly organized and slow service, forgotten dishes, and the starters arrived an hour and a half after ordering (perhaps because it was busy on a holiday today). The dining room staff was very friendly, especially the girl who served us on the first floor; she actually apologized for the long wait, and we were even offered (unpaid) a forgotten appetizer.
We ordered the fritto romano, but it was all batter and not much seasoning; the fried food was done well. The starters were a double serving of carbonara and cacio e pepe, and a zozzona (a kind of pasta dish) that I honestly expected more. In my humble opinion and personal taste, they use too much pecorino in the carbonara, which hides the other flavors of the seasonings and makes it heavier. Finally, there was a mixed roast, but unfortunately, for what was available, I didn't particularly like it. The porchetta and the meat with sauce were very good.

As for the food, you can be sure of it, the dishes are really good, both the first and second courses, and the staff is really kind and polite, very nice, especially the short guy with glasses who served us.
