Six of us went to Magna e Zitto and were absolutely thrilled!
I started with spaghetti cacio e pepe, which was out of this world: just the right amount of creaminess, with that bold character you expect from a masterfully crafted dish. For my second course, I chose saltimbocca alla romana: incredibly tender meat, flavorful prosciutto, and that aroma of sage that wins you over at first bite. Generous portions and top-quality ingredients.
But the real added value is the welcome. The waiter was exceptionally friendly: friendly, approachable, and always ready with a joke, making us feel like we were visiting old friends.
The atmosphere is authentic and convivial, perfect for a dinner with friends where the only goal is to feel good and eat divinely.
In short: you eat a lot, you spend the right amount, and you leave with a smile. We'll definitely be back!

We've eaten here several times and have always left more than satisfied.
The cacio e pepe is excellent, not to mention the carbonara, which is delicious.
I personally love their tripe with pecorino cheese and their legendary meatballs.
Gregorio is the perfect host with his jokes and contagious charm 😄.
And anyway, eating excellent Roman cuisine in Genoa is priceless.
Well done 😃

We spent a lovely evening with friends at this trattoria. The Roman dishes were well-prepared, served by a very friendly young man, and the kitchen staff were very friendly.

A TRUE Roman trattoria, with DOP dishes served by authentic Roman staff at very affordable and honest prices.
Here, in addition to the typical Lazio atmosphere (including furnishings and music), you'll find the most famous specialties so renowned throughout central Italy and the world:
pasta alla gricia (white amatriciana), carbonara DOCG, classic bucatini all'amatriciana, saltimbocca, Roman-style chicken, puntarelle (if in season), sautéed turnip tops, etc.
If you're lucky, you'll also have the chance to taste the excellent coda alla vaccinara, expertly prepared by the talented chef.
The house wines are also good, among which I personally favor the typical Castelli rosé.
A workers' menu is also available for lunch.
A stone's throw from the terminus of the 18 bus (618 evening service), near the large public gardens on Via Storace, a side street opposite the neo-Romanesque Don Bosco church on Via Carlo Rolando (Sampierderena neighborhood).
Highly recommended.

A trattoria with a typical Roman menu, the owner is pleasant and friendly, and the menu is strictly Roman, with authentic and well-executed dishes. A few odors from the kitchen permeate the dining room, but otherwise, it's worth considering and we'll definitely return.
