A delicious carbonara to say the least

A little place that I try with friends attracted by the numerous good reviews. Let's say that in the desolate panorama of a Sampierdarena all kebabbari and street/junk food, it represents a more than positive note. The place itself is the typical Roman tavern/tavern/trattoria and the raw materials used are of a good standard. Since it is not particularly crowded, in fact I would say half empty, I don't judge the service. We take a round of appetizers, bruschettas, cold cuts and cheeses, cacio e pepe, carbonara and saltimbocca. While the starters are normal, they are of decent quality, but the starters are absolutely poorly balanced and tend to be salty. I'm not discussing the quality of the ingredients, bacon, pecorino etc. are theirs, but if you don't balance the flavor of the pecorino and bacon with a less salty pasta than normal, what comes out is a dish that's too 'tasty', there's little to do. Normally I saltimbocca. The price for 4 people with a round of appetizers, 3 first courses and a second course, 3 coffees, 2 beers, a coke and 3 water is 30 euros per person, I would say a little high.

A Roman place in our Genoa, much appreciated background music, placemats at the table ditto, excellent food, scary porchetta and Roman cake to try!! I missed the appetizers but I will be back to try them!!

Very clean, characteristic place, you can breathe the air of Rome. Impeccable service, courteous, never intrusive. Excellent food! A real carbonara. A slipper amatriciana. To try!!! We will definitely be back!!!

I had a great time. The feeling is truly that of entering a typical Roman trattoria, including background music. In Sampierdarena you don't expect it. I speak about it with full knowledge of the facts because I often go to Rome and the dishes are cooked according to the tradition of the capital. I warn you that carbonara with square spaghetti can cause addiction and the vegetables are sautéed in a way that doesn't exist in Liguria. I will definitely come back

Really friendly and conversational owner, very good food, and background music from historical myths of recent decades. Recommended for true lovers of good, true traditional Italian cuisine. ;-)

Authentic Roman cuisine. All perfect. Dishes prepared with skill. The fried violets were the highlight of the lunch. We will definitely be back. WELL GOOD KEEP IT UP

I had a very good time, I liked the carbonara and it seemed truly authentic Roman. I also liked the suppli. Fair prices (in my opinion, anyone who complains about the price is wrong, 12 euros for a carbonara is fine, there must have been 4 egg yolks inside and bacon). A little slow but unfortunately I was also in a hurry.
