Madrepizza Campomarino In Campomarino

We stumbled upon it last night, looking for a place to eat, without a clear idea. We don't know Campomarino, but we always stop by quickly to say hello to my cousin, who's been staying there every summer for decades. After dropping her off, it was dinnertime, so we parked and looked for somewhere to eat. We approached cautiously, partly because it didn't look like a pizzeria where you could sit down and eat comfortably, but more like a quick bite-and-run. We asked if they did gluten-free pizzas. They said yes, but that the dough wasn't frozen. Because of my concerns, they'd bring us two half-slices. Great, no problem. I timidly asked if they also had lactose-free mozzarella. Yes, that too. Great! Gluten-free pizza and lactose-free mozzarella aren't easy to find. I ordered a capricciosa. My husband also ordered a beer brewed in Isernia. He said it was really good. When they brought our pizzas...WOW! Just WOW, because they were spectacular, but especially mine! I've never eaten such a delicious, crispy pizza! A spectacle. I showered the owner with compliments, because he deserves them all, given the passion he puts into his work. I gave the location 3 stars because it's not appealing enough, at least in my opinion. The photo of my half-palazzo of pizza is missing two pieces because it was so good, I rushed to eat it, then I remembered it deserved to be photographed! Really fair price: 29 euros for two: 2 half-pales, one of which was gluten-free and lactose-free, 1 bottle of water, and 1 bottle of beer. Compliments to the owners!

Personally I don't like it, the seasoning is not good, the price is quite high for 2 shovels (16 pieces in total) €34.

Truly exceptional pizza! You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients: light, well-leavened dough, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. Excellent selection of ingredients, from flours to toppings, everything is meticulously crafted. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly. One of the best pizzerias in the area, highly recommended!

Perfect pizza dough, unique crunch and lightness, quality local ingredients, very fair prices. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, they even rounded up our bill with a nice discount. Highly recommended! Excellent work.

I'd heard good things about this place, but the experience was a nightmare. Let's start with the menu: basic, classic pizzas. A pizzeria devoid of character. I ordered a pizza that didn't make it to my colon quickly. That aside, I didn't like the pizza and the atmosphere with its white, hospital-like lighting.

Two of us showed up on a Saturday night without a reservation, and the owner, after some acrobatics, managed to find us a table. The pizza was excellent: crispy, soft, and well-filled. The beers were quality. It couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.
